5 out of 5 eggsvery Quiet Fan Ever

Pros: Very Reliable Quiet, unique color.
It will be long run because of the Fluid dynamic bearings.
Quite a good Air Flow as compared in noise.

Cons: Little bit weak Air Flow.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet and moves enough air

Pros: It is very quiet and moves enough air for what I need it for, and I hear no fan motor sounds, just allot of air being blown out of the case.

Cons: The silicone grommets that it comes with doesn't fit my case but that is why it comes with screws to. Not really a con

Other Thoughts: Doesn't move enough air for someone looking to overclock they're whole system, but to replace a dead exhaust fan on an emachines computer, it works just fine.

4 out of 5 eggsSHHH

Pros: Extremely quiet.

Cons: Not as much air flow as I would like but it's good

Other Thoughts: Great if you want a quiet pc. I can actually hear my hard drive now.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent, but not a long-term product.

Pros: 1. High RPM
2. Quieter than most fans I have had before
3. Great CFM, keeps the case temp under control
4. Not molex, so you can control it's speed
5. One of the best fans for staying quiet and performing well.

Cons: 1. A little overpriced (most decent fans are about 20-50% less)
2. Short(ish) cable length (Not a big con)
3. After 4 months of having this installed, it has started to make whirring noises. At first I thought it was my hard drive, but when I went to check it, I unplugged it and the noise stopped. This is quite annoying but it is sporadic, so it doesn't whir all the time, but still.
4. Again, paying more for this thing didn't really pay off when it starts to malfunction in this short period of time.

Other Thoughts: 1. How do I fix this? Can it be fixed or do I need a replacement?
2. As an added note, I didn't even have the thing running at 60% of its full speed...

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Looks nice, with a bronze look that doesn't really show in the pictures.

Cons: DOA - not even spinning it by hand would start the thing up. Way, way overpriced given that others have had this same issue, while the other fans I bought at less than half this price (on the same order!) work great.

2 out of 5 eggsIntermittent start failure

Pros: Fan is very quiet when it runs. Comes with power adapter to use inline with molex plugs on PS harness.

Cons: Fan failed to start a few times, would only spin if started with a finger flick. This failure occurred with fan plugged into MB or PS harness without speed control (full 12V).

Other Thoughts: When shopping for "quiet" fans, make sure to consider flow rate. Some fans are designed to be more quiet due to different shapes and bearing technology, but the bulk of the added "quietness" comes from running the fan slow and a reduced flow-rate. This fan is 11 dBA at 32 cfm which would have been great if it worked. 2 stars because maybe I just got the lemon of the batch.

Pros: Quite when installed with the supplied rubber mounting pins. Nice touch SilenX.
