4 out of 5 eggsIt's okay.

Pros: No brainer. You'll hard drive will stay cooler. Tranlucent blue color is somewhat appealing.

Cons: The plastic finish makes it looker cheaper than you can discern in the pictures. Also, getting to fit isn't the problem. It's trying to tighten the fastening screws that mount it to your hard drive that's a royal pain in the you know what. Unless you can dislocate your thumb at will, be prepared for some frustration.

Other Thoughts: None.

3 out of 5 eggsHopefully not too noisy

Pros: Looks like a good add-on to HDD that are constantly downloading

Cons: Can't get it to fit, I'll try to file it down right where the pinch spots are to hopefully do the trick!

4 out of 5 eggsTitan HDD cooler

Pros: Cheap, cools well, gets the job done.

Cons: Louder than I would like, temperature decrease might not be worth the noise. I had to bend the drive holder tabs on my case to get the drive in there.

Other Thoughts: I started trying to make my computer cooler one day, and this is one of the things I put in there. My drive temps are as follows: with cooler: max 33 Celcius idle, without cooler: max 37 Celcius (after 25-30ish minutes of light use). So an average of four degrees. This is the loudest fan I have in my case (AMD CPU fan, 80mm case fan, 120?mm fan on PSU). It might be good for some people, but my case seems to have good enough airflow that it doesn't make much of a difference. If you need to keep a drive cooler, maybe look at one of the aluminum ones, as they should wick heat away better than plastic.-

3 out of 5 eggsMeh Meh

Pros: A fan to keep your harddrive cool. Actually works.

Cons: No blue LED's as stated by Newegg. It only goes on the bottom of your harddrive and it will no longer sit right in the drive bay.

Other Thoughts: To everyone who has had the same problem re-installing the drive after installing this. What I ended up doing was cutting squears in the plastic where the drive is supposed to fit, it now fits fine. However the plastic is VERY hard to cut I had to drill holds and then use a seraded knife to cut out the pieces.
