Pros: I used this in a tiny case, it worked well on a low watt i3. It is completely silent. Under full load temps never past 48c

Pros: Purchased this cooler for a slim line ITX case and couldn't be happier. Fan is quiet even under load. I especially like the fact that the fan attaches by screws versus clips. I have not had any problem with the fan working itself loose from the processor.

Other Thoughts: This is a really good fan for people that need a low profile cpu cooler. It is quiet and attaches firmly to the motherboard. Just be aware that you have to install the fan before you mount the motherboard since the screws connect to a panel under the motherboard and it may be difficult or impossible to get to after the motherboard is installed in your case.

Other Thoughts: I installed this cooler on an i7-4771. It turns out that I didn't need one with this low of a profile, but it is working well anyway. Idle temps are about 42 degrees C. Airflow over the cooler is good, and that helps to keep the temperature down. Noise level from the fan is low in my situation, but if your CPU has a heavy workload, the fan will have to run faster and will be audible.

Rather than use the included thermal compound, I bought some Arctic Silver 5 just to make sure this cooler would work optimally.

Pros: Slimmer than stock Intel CPU cooler/fan; quiet; was able to locate another slim 95mm fan in the warchest just in case; back plate mount

Cons: Definitely not for wattage above 65w in small footprint case.

Other Thoughts: Cooling is comparable to a stock Intel cooler when using good thermal paste. Unit sufficiently cooled a 35w, 55w and 65w processor in a very small poorly ventilated case. At 65w, though, obvious signs of thermal capacity began showing. At 95w cooler was only successful cooling in conjunction w/ throttling of the CPU. While I can't say any 95mm fan will fit this unit, I was able to dig up a slim fan matching the mounts of the existing fan. So, a replacement fan isn't impossible to source should it be necessary.

Pros: Actually worked amazingly well for ten months (purchased 3/31/13) on an i7-3770S, kept it at very reasonable temperatures even at 3.9ghz (Yes, 3.9, not 3.1, apparently my board automatically managed to OC it to the speeds of a non-S model) on all four cores/eight threads at maximum load. This was in a fairly small Silverstone SG-05 case as well, with only a single front 120mm intake fan.

Cons: Failed inside of ten months with zero warning at all, heard it start to spin up when I launched a CPU-intensive application, heard a horrid mechanical 'bang' of sorts, machine totally locked up and crashed about five minutes later. Rebooted, fan spun up for five seconds and stopped dead. Currently debating replacing the entire HSF with an identical model in hopes of getting a longer-lasting one, upgrading my case/PSU/HSF at the same time, or trying to find a 95mm fan with proper mounting holes to replace the dead one.

Other Thoughts: For the price, hard to go wrong, and honestly I doubt many folks are going to cool an i7 with this thing, it'd probably be great on an i3 or similar low-power chip, as it managed to keep a 65w TDP i7 nice and frosty even under load. Unfortunately I either got a lemon fan or I just drove it too hard for too long (quite possible, seeing as typical usage of my machine would have the CPU working overtime, with the fan running at nearly full speed as well), so who knows, doubtful that it's under any sort of warranty at this point either, being as cheap as it is.

Other Thoughts: I bought this specifically looking for a good low profile heatsink/fan for a socket 1150 motherboard in an old supermicro 1u case. The first thing I found was that the backplate provided is substantially thicker than the old setup I was upgrading from, and would have required taller standoffs on the case. As it is, this heatsink will just barely fit in a 1u case using the shortest standoffs. I ended up having to cut up the thinner backplate from my old heatsink/mobo and use those pieces in place of the backplate Titan provided so that I would have something to screw the heatsink into. Not as rigid as a real backplate, but it's the only way this heatsink will fit in a 1u case, and so far it seems to be working just fine...

Pros: Ordered yesterday, paid for 3 day shipping, arrived this morning. Fit perfectly, runs smoothly and quietly. Excellent!

Cons: None I can think of.

Other Thoughts: Received overnight shipping, paid for 3 day. Awesome deal,... couldn't be happier.

Pros: It was cheap, and for at least a few months it did what it was supposed to, although it made an abnormally loud whirring noise I probably should have investigated sooner.

Cons: The noise grew louder and louder over time, and eventually the fan stopped working altogether.
