4 out of 5 eggsNice middle-of-the-road 80mm fan

Pros: Nice middle-of-the-road fan. It isn't totally silent, but it also isn't unbearably noisy. It blows a decent amount of air. It works exactly as advertised.

The included fan controller and protective grill is what makes it worth it - that alone would cost more than the fan to buy separately.

The red fins look nice, and it feels solid and well made.

Cons: On one of the fans I received, the plastic around the fan cable was damaged when the assembler who made it shoved the cable into the little plastic "slot" in the side of the fan. The other two fans I bought didn't have that issue, so I think it was just a quality control issue. In any case, it didn't prevent the fan from working properly. I just wrapped some electrical tape around it.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for that extra fan

Pros: I use it as an extra not needed fan where the top Powersource would mount on my current build just because i thought it was cute and would be funny. However, operationally? It moves and insane amount of air quickly and works amazingly. It even has a cute little speed dial that mounts on a PCI hardware slot, not the actual slot, just where the plat would go.

Cons: Nothing to say here.

Other Thoughts: Pros basically tells it as it is.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fan.

Pros: Keeps my system cool
Picked these up for $5, What a deal
Great airflow to noise ratio. Can't even hear them.

Cons: I don't know, The cable on the fan controller is only a single fan controller?

Other Thoughts: Amazing value. Would req. to others.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding

Pros: Quiet
Fan controller
Grill
Looks pretty
Low price

Cons: Nothing

Other Thoughts: The fan alone is worth the price. With the controller and grill you are getting most excellent value.

I put these in my HAF XB.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fans are great and push or pull a lot of air at full speed, I am using them in a HTPC and it pulls a lot of air out of the case.

Cons: none so far, Like another review the controller is little wobble ,but I will not be using mine.

Other Thoughts: Over all a great fan for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsNice fan

Pros: Pushes air out of the case at a nice rate. Has a nifty little fan controller to go along with the fan. Installation is fairly straight forward if installing both the fan and the fan controller.

Cons: The fan controller knob is very wobbly, feels as if it could pop off any any given moment when increasing of decreasing power to the fan.

The wires for the fan controller are in a slightly tangled mess with stickers combining the wires together, but that was easily remedied by cutting those stickers out and all was well with it.

Other Thoughts: The fan gets the job done. It is currently in the case that runs the router (pfSense) to this house (and i hope so for years to come). My only other remarks is the rats nest that the little controller wires and fan combined can create! It took a little bit of work to get those wires all neatly settled away.

It can get loud from time to time, but only if you want the fan at full speed. Most of the time, I forget that I have another actual tower running in the computer room. :)

4 out of 5 eggsA bit loud

Pros: It is quite powerful, pushes a lot of air. The variable speed adjuster is a nice touch.

Cons: It is loud on full speed, so installing the speed adjuster is pretty much required. Turning it down a little bit with that makes it silent.

Other Thoughts: Overall - definitely worth the price.

4 out of 5 eggsgood fan

Pros: Moves air. Not too noisy. Comes with a controller. Attractively priced.

Cons: The controller has incorrect wiring, or labeling, at least mine does. You can power the fan through the controller only with the molex connector, No biggie, but something for Rosewill to take note of.

Other Thoughts: I use it as a side fan in an older machine. It's a bit noisy at high speed, but it's the noise of the air being moved. So I mostly run it at about 1/3 of its maximum speed. Still it's good to know you have some control over the air flow and can increase the speed if need be.

5 out of 5 eggsStill a good fan

Pros: Comes with a grill, a controller, fan and screws.
Moves a decent amount of air compared to the noise it makes.
It's not that loud.

I have has 4 of these running for 6 years 24/7 without failure.

Cons: The price went up since the first review I wrote.

Other Thoughts: This is my second review for this fan. I have purchased somewhere around 50 of these in the last 6 years for use in arcade machines, computers and electronics projects. For the price, they have been the most reliable fans I have come across. The original 4 I purchased have been in the same server case for 6 years and they have not stopped under 24 / 7 usage. I just purchased 12 more today for work.

And for all you people complaining about noise, think about it, fans more air, fans disturb air, fans thus make noise, noise is disturbance or vibration in the air! Herp and Derp. You think these are loud, try some of the 80mm fans that run at 5000 ~ 7000 rpm, they scream.

Seriously these fans are not that noisy.

Also, maybe I will youtube a review on these and show the wiring setup.

for me it's a cake walk to figure out, plus, I think the cables where plugged into the controller when I got it, all I had to do was un-bundle and install.
