5 out of 5 eggsRosewill service is great.

Pros: I had 2 of these fans for almost a year and one of them started to make some noise.. it happens with electronics, so not too surprising. No manufacturer is free from such occurrences. I e-mailed Rosewill and they came through with a replacement in less than 2 days of my e-mail. What a great service. Thank you, Rosewill for a good product and for standing behind your products and honoring the warranty and being very peppy about it.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend this fan and Rosewill in general. I do however suggest that you instal either the supplied variable fan controller or another in-line resistor based Voltage limiter to cut down on maximum rpm for a quiet room. I have a limiter installed and my motherboard is set to control the speed of the fan as well, based on how hot the CPU is, and it goes to max 1,700 rpm and that is tolerable, noise wise, sitting next to the computer. 2,200 rpm (without limiter) is too noisy but moves alot more air (for those who have a remote system where noise is not an issue or for a highly overclocked system.) Overall, I recommend this fan. Ball bearing based fans typically last alot longer than sleeve and other type of bearing fans, simply because there is less wear and tear and no oil to leak due to overheated environment. If your fan is next to hot components, like CPU, for example, then you should get a ball bearing fan.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fans so far.

Pros: Seem very well built. Sturdy. No wobbling. Includes nice black fan grills. Moves a good amount of air, not too loud. Includes a fan speed controller (which I'm not using). Doesn't seem to be just "2 rotation speed"...the speed controller is analogue and the fan changes speeds along the full range of the speed controller.

Cons: The ends of the blades are SHARP. You might even be able to use these in a homemade "salad shooter" device if they were over-volted a bit. I accidentally got my finger in the way of the blades when testing them against my older fans (Mascool 9-blade)....sliced my finger right open with 3 cuts. Blades are of a decent density plastic...but they're still enough make easy work of skin.

Other Thoughts: I understand why the fan grills are included now that my finger has suffered the wrath of the Rosewill fan blades.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Fan Ever

Pros: The controller is what makes this fan.
I wish they would sell the controller separately.
I have been using these fans for years and currently have them installed on 8 different PC's.
I even soldered two 40 mm fans together to be run by a single contoller on a custom built ITX.
It lets you run the fans silently and that's what it's all about!

Cons: Absolutely none!

Other Thoughts: How about selling the controller separately?

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fans

Pros: I've got 3 of them so far, all worked great

Cons: Not the thinnest fan out there.

Other Thoughts: I don't plan on using the fan controller it comes with, as it makes a mess.

5 out of 5 eggs120 mm case fan

Pros: The fans are decent, But what is best is the cage it provides so that unwanted wiring accidentally enters the fan blade area. This can be very important when cooling situations are a must.

Cons: The controller isn't rally needed, but a perk for some. The controller has a LOT a wiring that can get in the way.

Other Thoughts: Seems to be a good price for the product

4 out of 5 eggsBest deal for good case fans

Pros: These fans move 2x as much air as the stock case fans that came in my case. Their price is also nearly impossible to beat.

Cons: The male and female molex connectors come out of the fan controller unit which means you cannot connect multiple fans to one fan controller without a splitting cable.

Other Thoughts: This build is for a project at university. We are using 6 of these on our case and we will have to buy splitters now in order to connect all the fans to one controller.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Fans For The Price

Pros: Real quiet when turned down and still moves a decent amount of air and good static pressure. Perfect for my 60mm thick low fpi radiators. I can barely hear them.

Cons: Only con I have is not being 4 pin PWM so I have to use a fan controller instead of the motherboard 4 pin header.

Other Thoughts: The fans are loud when on full blast but what do you expect for that type of air movement and static pressure. GREAT FANS!!!

5 out of 5 eggsRosewill 120mm case fan

Pros: 1. Dual ball bearing - going to last a whole lot longer than fans with other bearing types.
2. High static pressure
3. High CFM
4. Not loud, even at full speed - Almost silent until you get past about 50% speed when using the included fan controller.
5. Usually can get for a very good price.

Cons: 1. Can cut you - I have cut myself multiple times on these fans.
2. I have gotten a few of these that had a DOA fan controller. Not a biggie for me as I usually don't use the fan controller.

Other Thoughts: These are the absolute best fans for the money.
The first time I bought these, I purchased 9 of them for a customer's office. That was around a year ago now. As far as I know none of them have caused any problems.

Since then, I have purchased quite a few more of these. All of them have been great.

I wish Rosewill would make these in 140mm, 180mm, and 200mm size. Very disappointed that they only come in 120mm.
