A compact tower with three U-shaped heatpipes running through a powerful stack of aluminum fins, the Rosewill RCX-Z775-EX is a chilly champion, banishing heat to the outer reaches of your case! Designed specifically for your Slot 775 system, the mounting bracket is integral to the unit, and the pipes the bent outwards, offsetting and balancing the weight of the unit when it's installed.
The mirror polished copper base attaches smoothly to your unit, and the included thermal grease can further improve the cooling efficiency. The 92mm fan is clipped into place, or can be replaced with anything of a compatible size. You can aim the Z775 wherever you need it most, but usually pointing it toward the rear exhaust provides the best results.
This is a spectacular assembly both in looks and efficiency, ready to keep your system in the hottest situations. Keep cool with Rosewill's RCX-Z775-EX!

Light without copper
- Pros: Extreemly light and well designed. The pefect soloution vrs larger, heavier 120mm fanned heatsinkes of more well known brands. It will fit anything down to a mid tower case also.
- Cons: This is much Newegg's fault as it is Rosewill's; Newegg merely took the description exerpts from Rosewill. THE HEATPIPES AND CONTACT BASE IS NOT COPPER. Period. Many reputable hardware review sites have reviewed this rcx-z775-ex and concur. The material is obviously a nickel plated form of some metalic material. Copper is copper, not this material. Rosewill states this has "embedded copper pipes and base", but thats a bold LIE. Also in my specific case and ownership, the base was marred or blemished and NOT a "mirror' like finsh on the contact base either. Don't know if Newegg sent me someone else's RMA or problem but...
- Other Thoughts: This could easily be a 5 egg product if Rosewill actually had pure copper pipes and contact base, AND Newegg described it accurately. It cools adaquately, is a great lightweight design that stand up to the big boys. But.. as stated in the Con's, it only overall is average, especially for the money.

Manufacturer Response:Dear customer, We are sorry for the misundertood caused by the Nickel coating on this cooler. THE HEATPIPES AND CONTACT BASE IS COPPER. You can verify in two ways. 1. Scratching the coated part on heatpipes and you should be able to see the cooper after the coating removed. 2. Please reference that photo in the following links. The photo is second link showed the cooler before and after the coating. the third link showed the coated cooler's cross section after being sawed. Regards Rosewill

Performs good as expected
- Pros: Lots of pros in my opinion. I didn't have to take the tape off the back plate to stick to my board even though I could have if needed. Here's the biggy for me. I'm running an overclocked conroe and although the idle temp is the same as it used to be,(will probably be a little lower when artic silver cures), the load temp doesn't go up but one to two degrees. That's a quite a difference from the aftermarket cooler it just replaced. The fan runs at 900rpm instead of 3000 like the old one, so its whisper quiet now. Is suprisingly light with a mirror-like finish on the bottom of the contact plate. Will fit into a mid-size case and still big enough so that the case fan can help in the heat dissapation. Stays out of the way of the memory channels. It's not too big so you can still get your hands in the case to do what you have to do. It weighs 503 grams. I LOVE the fact that it screws on and not the plastic pegs the stock or some aftermarkets use.
- Cons: Wish it would have came with a led fan but you can always put your own on. This is not really a con but yes, you do have to remove your board for the initial install.
- Other Thoughts: For reference, I'm using it on an abit aw9d-max board, E-6400 overclocked to 3ghz. All I can say is you have to try it for yourself. I'm happy with it.

Nice Cooler!
- Pros: Overclocking my Q6600 from the stock 2.4Ghz to 3.3Ghz has barely raised the core temps when I used this baby. Six pipes to draw out the heat make it indeed a nice cooler. Being able to screw the heatsink is also a huge plus because anything that is tool less doesn't seem as sturdy to me. Fan that comes with it runs well and is easy to replace if you want more airflow
- Cons: It is rather tall so if you have a relatively small case this heatsink may not fit. You also need to have the motherboard taken out of your case so you can put the support bracket on the back of the motherboard for the heatsink. It is worth it in my opinion, so as to be able to screw in the heatsink and have a tight fit between the processor and the heatsink.
- Other Thoughts: Don't forget to take off the plastic from the bottom of the heatsink :)
Deal
- Pros: Decently made, good instructions. It does its job in cooling my Q9550. In an Antec 300 with five fans, with room temp at between 25 - 28C, the CPU is:
38C idle, 48-55C full load (4 cores have different temps, 3 of them are between 48 and 50, and one of them is consistently 5C higher).
- Cons: Not a top-tier cooler, but at 24.99 bucks it's worth it.
- Pros: Using this with an overclocked Q6600 and it keeps it nice and cool. The mirror finish is fantastic and overall it's a high quality piece.
- Cons: None
