Rosewill offers "the best choice in value" with its range of CPU coolers that offer high end features and performance at low end prices. The RCX-775-LX offers features found on many – more expensive – coolers. Designed specifically for Intel's Socket 775 processors, it combines multiple features into a package that performs equally as well as higher-priced units but at a fraction of the price.
A vertical stack of large dimension aluminum convection fans are supported – and penetrated by – 3 copper heatpipes which rise out of the base. The base's copper construction ensures maximum heat transference from the CPU's heatspreader. The pipes draw the heat up from the base for dispersion by the cooling fins.
The red 92mm ball bearing fan is mounted vertically along this array to blow cooling air over the fins and towards the cases' exhaust fan. Its PWM functionality lets the system's BIOS monitor the fan's speed as well as the thermal need of the CPU and adjust the fans speed lower during reduced computing cycles letting the user balance cooling performance with noise level.

Very effective
- Pros: Overclocked 1.6 2140 Core duo to 2.6ghz, at full load it's at 45c.
Very good bang for buck ratio. Three pipes, nice design. ASUS P5E-VM DO LG
- Cons: Fan speed is about 1500rpm max. Don't know how reliable this will prove to be.
- Other Thoughts: Really not that difficult to install. Won't fit cases with the tube from the side that goes direct to the fan, as the fan is perpendicular to the board. Also, when mounting, make sure the fan does not blow into the same direction as your rear case fans.
This is It
- Pros: Wow, if your looking for a CPU cooler to replace your stock junk or buying a New processor and don't want to blow your budget on high price coolers get this. Dropped my Core 2 2.2Ghz idle temps 10c (38c) & this is before Arctic Cool 5 sets in!
- Cons: Not really a con but I had to remove the "unknown" thermal paste to put on trusty Arctic Silver.
- Other Thoughts: This is a great cooler, small efficient, and you don't have to remove motherboard to install! oh yeah Price!! for anyone looking, the size of the cooler is 111mm wide x 89.5mm x 139.5mm tall weight 501 Grams.

PRICE WENT UP BIG TIME
- Pros: help cool my Intel E6600 for a year, cpu heat never goes over 24C on idle and never goes over 31C on full load
- Cons: this thing was $12.99 back then, now it's $19.99 not to mention shipping
- Other Thoughts: Am amaze that I can use this on AM2/AM2+ mobo, I did a little adjustment but it sure fit tight, glad I didn't have to spent extra $$$ to buy after market heatsink & fan, little modification and it help cool down my atholon ii x4 240 & then phenom ii x4 945 as of now
Lowered my temps
- Pros: Lowered temps on my e5200 from 32 idle with stock to 26 idle and 43 load.
- Cons: Push pin insert
- Other Thoughts: Push pin install, not my favorite style for sure.
Awesome
- Pros: This thing keeps my system running cool and with my window in my case it looks great. Quiet, good looks, and keeps my processor cool.
- Cons: The only thing I found out about this is the size. If you dont have much room under your hood. lol You might not want something as tall as this.
- Other Thoughts: I recommend this cooler for someone looking for an affordable cooler.
