5 out of 5 eggsGood value

This review is from: Rosewill 120mm Computer Case Fan (Case Cooling Fan) - Sleeve Bearing, Silent Fan with LP4 Adapter; RFA-120-K

Pros: Not the quietest, but it moves plenty of air which is more important to me. Of course, it's a sleeve bearing fan, so I expect it to start vibrating and making noise in a year. That's what you get for this price. Other than that, no complaints.

Cons: None. It's cheap, so I expect it to be cheap.

5 out of 5 eggsThese things move air.

This review is from: Rosewill 120mm Computer Case Fan (Case Cooling Fan) - Sleeve Bearing, Silent Fan with LP4 Adapter; RFA-120-K

Pros: These fans really do push a lot of air, and they do that at only 2000 rpms! These fans were 3$ when I bought them and there was no fan that moved the amount of air for the price, none.

Cons: I did by 5 of these to go in my thermaltake case and I love them besides one thing. 2 of the fans, when the speed is around half, start making an engine sound. For me, that isn't much of a problem since i am cooling 2 r9 290s on air and keeping them at 70 degrees.

Other Thoughts: Just to recap, they move air but i recommend buying them in bulk on a steal of a sale and then finding the loud ones. Other than that they were the best fans I've seen.

2 out of 5 eggsCase Fans

This review is from: Rosewill 120mm Computer Case Fan (Case Cooling Fan) - Sleeve Bearing, Silent Fan with LP4 Adapter; RFA-120-K

Pros: Moves air.

Cons: Noisy bearings.

Other Thoughts: I ordered 4 of these for a build, and two of them have been making noise from the bearings. The two that are rattling are mounted in the top of the case, I believe the lubrication was inadequate out of the factory and have been trying to solve it myself by adding sewing machine lubricant. Some improvement, still trying to find optimal level.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Rosewill 120mm Computer Case Fan (Case Cooling Fan) - Sleeve Bearing, Silent Fan with LP4 Adapter; RFA-120-K

Pros: Price + air flow these fans are a no brainer. I now have replaced all my case fans with these and my case temps never get more than a couple of degrees above room temperature. One of these also happened to line up right under the air intake on my video card and now my max vid temps have dropped by 5 degrees.

Cons: If I really had to pick one I guess the cord could be a little longer, but really it's fine, mainly my case that's big.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fans

This review is from: Rosewill 120mm Computer Case Fan (Case Cooling Fan) - Sleeve Bearing, Silent Fan with LP4 Adapter; RFA-120-K

Pros: Moves A great amount of air!
Fairly quiet when controlled by fan controllers
Extremely inexpensive for the quality you recieve
Ordered 5 of these for 2.99 a piece, all 5 came fully functional.
I really can't express how good of a deal these really air, fan's come nice and neatly packaged with 8x screws and molex adapter as well.

Cons: None to really speak of that I didn't know about before I purchased.

I think its a little under exaggerated with their 29dbA, maybe more like 32.

Other Thoughts: If you plan on putting multiple fans in your case, you will really want to get a nice fan controller. If you look into dba levels and how they exponentially raise the levels you'll understand why. If you are just running 1 fan on say your heatsink or something, you'll hear a low hum of the air moving, but when you start taking up more fans, youll hear it better, because these are moving A LOT of air.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fans

This review is from: Rosewill 120mm Computer Case Fan (Case Cooling Fan) - Sleeve Bearing, Silent Fan with LP4 Adapter; RFA-120-K

Pros: Does what the specifications say it does. Runs very quiet. I bought two of these because I bought a Rosewill case that came with two 800 RPM fans.

Cons: First time I started up the computer with these in, the fans would not run automatically. I spun both fans myself and that got them going. Ever since, I haven't had an issue, so it's not really a con; it's just something to be aware of.

Other Thoughts: I probably didn't need these fans even though the case fans were terrible. The polar vortex has arrived, and I don't use heat in my small apartment, meaning the environment cools my computer greatly with my CPU idling at 6C today. Usually it idles at 10C. This is with the stock AMD fan on an FX 6300. Why pay 100+ for liquid cooling when you can save money on that and your heating bill? No overclocking yet, but I may see how much I can push it for fun.

4 out of 5 eggsGood fan

This review is from: Rosewill 120mm Computer Case Fan (Case Cooling Fan) - Sleeve Bearing, Silent Fan with LP4 Adapter; RFA-120-K

Pros: Cheap fan, pulls a lot of air, or push depends on what ya use it for. I use this fan to pull cool air in the front of my tower and it does it great. Out of all 9 fans I run. This one is the most quiet of them all. But I love the humm of several fans and flashing lights. But airflow is essential for a gamer like myself.

Cons: Not to date. Just have to keep the dust off the screen or it can't do its job, but that is regular maintenance.

Other Thoughts: I willl look to buy more when the others give out. Led's added to it would be cooler if they had them lol.

1 out of 5 eggsGot a bad fan

This review is from: Rosewill 120mm Computer Case Fan (Case Cooling Fan) - Sleeve Bearing, Silent Fan with LP4 Adapter; RFA-120-K

Pros: the price is great

Cons: I chalking this up to a random bad fan. I have used many rosewill fans and they work great. This particular fan was loud and clanky out of the box. Day 1 it was loud, Day 2 louder.

Other Thoughts: I emailed newegg and they were able to help me out and take care of this.
