1 out of 5 eggsComplete Garbage

Pros: It looks like a Cooler Master. Its cheap

Cons: It's cheap. It didn't really work for me

My CPU shot up to 100 deg Celsius in less than 2 minutes under a full load. (I even used top notch thermal paste)

Other Thoughts: Don't buy.

3 out of 5 eggsKeeps it cool.

Pros: Copper

Cons: Push pins break easily.

Other Thoughts: You should be able to remove it for a cpu upgrade. Instead you may discover a defective or broken push pin.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice Heatsink and Fan

Pros: Copper bottom
Very easy install.
HUGE difference from stock heatsink
Overclocking my i7 920 to 3.6 ghz runs idle at 37 Celsius.
Bought it on sale for under $20.
Best performance to price heatsink.

Cons: None at all. My expectations were superseded by this.

Other Thoughts: Also purchased a new tube of Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste. One small dab in the middle. The heatsink and heat will spread it out evenly. Don't want it too thick, that will hurt the intended improvement to heat dispersion.

4 out of 5 eggsNice budget CPU cooler

Pros: -Keeps CPU under 50 degrees Celcius.under load
-Inexpensive

Cons: -Not very silent (also not very loud)
-Confusing installation

Other Thoughts: While it's the loudest part in my build, compared to other CPU coolers, this is relatively silent. Does its job well.

5 out of 5 eggsNot LGA 1150 Compatible

Pros: Rosewill support is nice. And I'm giving 5 stars just for the customer service, however I DID NOT TEST THE PRODUCT.

Cons: I got it and the box listed a bunch of compatible lga sockets, 1150 was not one of them so I called rosewill to confirm that it wouldn't work on a lga 1150 socket. They said it wouldn't and were helpful by telling me how to rma it back to newegg. Secondly the newegg support agent was nice and sent me a ups shipping label plus an rma label.

Other Thoughts: Anyone whose thinking about buying any aftermarket CPU cooler go to the manufacturer website to see what sockets it is compatible with because I'm noticing newegg isn't accurate with other cpu coolers to like the 212 evo says it isn't compatible with the lga 1150 but the 212 evo plus is.

1 out of 5 eggsAbsolute junk !

Pros: Was very cheap which proves you get what you pay for :-P

Cons: Worst mounting on an AMD board ( of the many cpu cooler upgrades I've done ) EVER !!!! loose enough to slide around with very little pressure ! Clamp is flimsy !

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent CPU Cooler for the Money.

Pros: - Light weight.
- Doesn't block RAM slots like 120mm version.
- Cools better than anything in it's class.
- Push-Pin Mounting clips are nice. Don't have to remove board when replacing CPU or adding new Grease.

Cons: - Tall, may not fit in CUBE style cases.
- Fan is very loud, for a 92mm this thing needs to be better.
- Poor heat transfer grease. Get what you pay for.
- Push-Pin clips can be difficult to install to MB.

Other Thoughts: I have used this cooler with a i5 2500K and it did Ok. I upgraded my board to a i7 3770s and thought to use a better looking cooler. I had a new Xigmatek Low profile designed for 115 watts max. Under fulll load it was hitting 79-81c. I removed it and re-installed my Rosewell and what a difference. Under full load (running Hand Brake & Playing DA) Iam at 60-62c. Much better.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate on 2 year old review

Pros: Surprisingly good cooling. (best I have seen in this price range)
With the current CPU of 100w TDP I have this on, the temp does not go above 65C on prime 95 for 2 hours.
Light construction, (doesn't warp the MOBO)
easy to clean? lol
even with the fan at lower speeds the CPU doesnt heat up much

Cons: The mounting seems flimsy but it works.

On AMD sockets it is difficult to get the cooler properly aligned with the bracket. Also when you clamp it down it sometimes wiggles out of place :/

On Intel sockets it is difficult to get the pins into the motherboard correctly.

Fan is loud unless you manually configure it on your motherboard.
Thermal paste is a real pain to get fully off, to where there is no residue left.

Sadly for the past 2 years it has kept my CPU so cool, that I haven't been able my toast on it like on stock coolers.

Other Thoughts: Update on an older review. Bought this about 2 years ago. i have used this on Intel and AMD sockets (FM2+, AM3, LGA 1156, LGA 775) and many different CPU's

I have this setup with a fan behind it, (push-pull) that in its self will drop your temps immensely. Using Arctic Cooling MX-4 before that I used Arctic Silver 5 (MX-4 is better).

Bottom line if you dont wanna spend $25 or more on a after market cooler this is the way to go.
