5 out of 5 eggsgreat little cooler

Pros: Bought this to replace an old Thermaltake V1 which was among the best when I bought it. Its cooling a Phenom II 720 X3 overclocked from 2.8 to 3.3. When the V1 was new it Idled around 26c and full load was 55c. The old V1 was still OK before I replaced it with temps Idle 29c and full load 58c but fan was getting noisy.

Threw this little gem on and was shocked. Idles at 17c and full load at 38c. Very impressed for its price and size.

Cons: None so far

1 out of 5 eggsComplete Garbage

Pros: It looks like a Cooler Master. Its cheap

Cons: It's cheap. It didn't really work for me

My CPU shot up to 100 deg Celsius in less than 2 minutes under a full load. (I even used top notch thermal paste)

Other Thoughts: Don't buy.

3 out of 5 eggsKeeps it cool.

Pros: Copper

Cons: Push pins break easily.

Other Thoughts: You should be able to remove it for a cpu upgrade. Instead you may discover a defective or broken push pin.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice Heatsink and Fan

Pros: Copper bottom
Very easy install.
HUGE difference from stock heatsink
Overclocking my i7 920 to 3.6 ghz runs idle at 37 Celsius.
Bought it on sale for under $20.
Best performance to price heatsink.

Cons: None at all. My expectations were superseded by this.

Other Thoughts: Also purchased a new tube of Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste. One small dab in the middle. The heatsink and heat will spread it out evenly. Don't want it too thick, that will hurt the intended improvement to heat dispersion.

4 out of 5 eggsNice budget CPU cooler

Pros: -Keeps CPU under 50 degrees Celcius.under load
-Inexpensive

Cons: -Not very silent (also not very loud)
-Confusing installation

Other Thoughts: While it's the loudest part in my build, compared to other CPU coolers, this is relatively silent. Does its job well.

5 out of 5 eggsNot LGA 1150 Compatible

Pros: Rosewill support is nice. And I'm giving 5 stars just for the customer service, however I DID NOT TEST THE PRODUCT.

Cons: I got it and the box listed a bunch of compatible lga sockets, 1150 was not one of them so I called rosewill to confirm that it wouldn't work on a lga 1150 socket. They said it wouldn't and were helpful by telling me how to rma it back to newegg. Secondly the newegg support agent was nice and sent me a ups shipping label plus an rma label.

Other Thoughts: Anyone whose thinking about buying any aftermarket CPU cooler go to the manufacturer website to see what sockets it is compatible with because I'm noticing newegg isn't accurate with other cpu coolers to like the 212 evo says it isn't compatible with the lga 1150 but the 212 evo plus is.

1 out of 5 eggsAbsolute junk !

Pros: Was very cheap which proves you get what you pay for :-P

Cons: Worst mounting on an AMD board ( of the many cpu cooler upgrades I've done ) EVER !!!! loose enough to slide around with very little pressure ! Clamp is flimsy !
