2 out of 5 eggsEXTREMELY HIGH PITCHED AND LOUD

Pros: Keeps it cool

Cons: LOUD - IN THE WORST WAY POSSIBLE - it has a high pitched whine, you can hear it in other rooms!!

Other Thoughts: I got this free with my AMAZING Rosewill mechanical keyboard. I would have never purchased this CPU cooler by itself.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks very well

Pros: I have this installed in my Untangle box, a short 1U case with a Celeron G1610. Even with the fan turned down to 1 (out of 10) in my BIOS, it keeps the CPU almost at room temperature.

Cons: It gets a bit loud when on full, but that was completely expected.

1 out of 5 eggsShipped without LGA1156 / 1150 backplate

Pros: Seems like it would fit, the fan worked on an external hard disk supply with a spare 3 pin fan adapter.

Cons: Factory supplied 'warning' sticker on bottom of CPU, attached with ADHESIVE (instead of using a closed cell plastic and applying it with just vacuum)

** Shipped without LGA 1156 / 1150 backplate. **

I literally cannot properly install this as it is about 3-5 MM too tall to fit inside the 1U enclosure I purchased.

Other Thoughts: Am I supposed to RMA this (not all parts included) heatsink now? I didn't see a fitting option to have just the missing components sent.

3 out of 5 eggsI've seen some things

Pros: it works...
it's a good UI fan
good in case your heatsink dies out (I don't know why tho?)

Cons: ITS TOO GOSH DARN LOUD... also some weird liquid came out of the fan... don't know if i should worry about the fan or my PC

Other Thoughts: I got this from my keyboard. I've seen some things, I've done some stuff but this is a whole new level. Do what i did to mine, and throw it out the window and call it "Unholy"

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cools

Cons: I got this for my slim HTPC case. Like everyone said, it's super loud. I can hear it inside my tv console with the doors closed. The fan sounds like it runs at 100% all of the time.

Other Thoughts: Unless you absolutely need this exact one due to fit, get something else.

3 out of 5 eggsLoud

Pros: Keeps your junk cold

Cons: pretty loud

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't have this in a system you've got on your desk or near you, probably best for a box hidden away, make sure you adjust your MB for this fan otherwise it's a little rocket.

1 out of 5 eggsWARNING: DO NOT BUY

Pros: Works as a 1U fan

Cons: Wow... previous posters were NOT KIDDING ABOUT THE GOO! This stuff will not come off. The manufacturer obviously made a huge mistake with the super-glue they put on this heatsink.

Other Thoughts: Get any other 1U heatsink for your proc, this is NOT worth the time and hassle of getting the glue off. If you buy it, set aside 3 hours for getting the glue off.

4 out of 5 eggsworks good

Pros: does its job. comes with paste and backplates.

Cons: LOUD.

also, comes with a sticker that leaves adhesive where the cpu meets the copper. this was very inconvenient as i had to get goo gone and carb cleaner to get it off cleanly.

Other Thoughts: if u dont mind the noise its a good heatsink for the price. installed pretty easily.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very slim design for impossible cases, or 1U units. Very effective cooling considering the small-sized heat sink.

Cons: It is a bit noisy, but considering the size of the unit and how small the heat sink is, it has to rotate at a high speed.

Other Thoughts: Perfect for the small or impossible cases without sacrificing cooling.
