4 out of 5 eggsNice fan in concept

Pros: Great design on paper, sturdy build, easy install with non-furnished fan screws, 4 pin connector. Had to install with 3 pin extension (see below) then they ran well and quietly.

Cons: Would not start with 4pin fan terminal on Gigabyte 990FXA UD3 AM3+ mobo. Used a 3 pin connector/extension to install; be sure you have one available in case your fan won't start.

Other Thoughts: Great fan if you get past the expectation that it will run off stock motherboard current with factory connections. They are truly silent. Used screws instead of supplied rubber mounting attachments for a simple swap.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Awesome Price, PWM, Hydro Dynamic Bearing, Sturdy Construction, Fancy Blades, Braided Cable, and Good Airflow to Sound Ratio

Cons: Faint PWM click, but can be made basically inaudible at low RPM's.

Other Thoughts: Have two of these on an H100i. They are not as capable as the stock fans, but fit in very well with a nearly silent PC while still providing ample cooling.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quiet at the right RPM

Cons: Louder at higher RPM

Other Thoughts: Depending on the motherboard, they may have some quirkyness on driving these PWM fans. I had to force the mobo to drive the 120mm fan with a higher duty cycle as it was defaulting to some low RPM drive. Not really a fan issue per say.

It's a real shame no manufacturer specs fan speed vs duty cycle which helps with mobo compat

5 out of 5 eggsGreat airflow and quiet

Pros: I mounted this fan in a Raidmax "Stingray" case as a front fan. The case tabs indicated that the front was removable but I did not want to take the chance of breaking the tabs. This meant that only a fan with rubber standoffs would work. This fan was difficult to mount given the configuration of the case, but I was successful. The fan is vibration free and very quiet, moving a surprisingly quantity of air (57 cu. ft. per min.) into the case.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have never used a case fan with rubber mounts and I am quite pleased at how well this model ROCF-11004 fan works.

5 out of 5 eggsRosewill Fan

Pros: - Build Quality. They are plastic but feel sturdy.
- Quiet. You can't hear anything except for the sound of moving air.
- Airflow. They really do push a lot of air.

Cons: - The logos aren't particularly good looking. But they aren't terrible.
- They can sometimes make a high pitch noise when you don't give them enough power to run. It goes away after a while.
- Sometimes can take quite a bit of power to get them spinning.
- Only included anti-vibration mounts. There were not any regular screws included.

Other Thoughts: These are great fans that have some nit-picky cons but not worth losing an egg over. Got them on sale with a coupon and were well worth the price.

5 out of 5 eggsMight have to get Speedfan

Pros: Completely silent while moving a lot of air at a low cost.

Cons: doesn't come with any software or drivers

Other Thoughts: So when I plugged this in, the fan only twitched, but never spun right. In an effort to get it to work, I installed a program called speedfan, and after messing with it as well as making Windows automatically starting it upon boot, the fan works as I want it too.

In other words, my motherboard didn't have the ability to control the fan itself, and I needed a 3rd party program.

I also had to put it on a bracket so as to fit in my silly OEM case and did not use the rubber mounts. Still silent even at full speed though. Tempted to get another 2 for a push-pull config.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great, just what I needed

Pros: Quiet, moves enough air, speed control works great.

Cons: Could be cheaper... :-)

Other Thoughts: Installation was a bit tricky with the rubber mounts, but it works well once you get used to it. You really do have to pull on them pretty hard to get them to seat properly. Not a con, just something to note.

I'm running four in my case, and I can barely hear them. Much quieter than the screamers I had in there before, and they move a good amount of air too.
