5 out of 5 eggsThey do the job.

Pros: Fit nicely in a Supermicro X8DTL-if-o dual cpu board.
Kept CPU's cool.

Cons: Louder than Chuck Norris. I returned them because I got tired of people in the office asking me where the jets were landing, and that was with the server in a separate room with the door closed. I gave them 5 eggs because they are a good product and they do what they are meant to do - keep the cpu's cool. They are just too loud for an office environment.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Keeps any Xeon cool

Cons: It's not copper

Other Thoughts: I can't say that it's louder than any other heatsink I've used.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat heatsink/fan

Pros: Quiet, great airflow

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Running on a Xeon E5620 on top of an Asus Z8NA-D6 motherboard...tight fit, but no clearance issues. This is for lower watt cpu's, so make sure your cpu is in the TDP range for this item.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid HSF, Great Price

Pros: I was trying to look for some fancy HSF for my E5540's but i eventually decided on getting a pair of these and they are always cool to the touch, very minimal on the noise

Cons: Aluminum, not copper but not many people buy Xeons to overclock so whats the point!

Other Thoughts: I would purchase these Heatsinks again, You can mount them with the fans blowing in any direction you deem best.

3 out of 5 eggsnot compatible with Asus Mobo's

Pros: looked sturdy, well built

Cons: DOES NOT FIT ASUS BOARDS. The heatsink hits the row of capacitors surrounding the cpu socket. This fan and heatsink isnt raised by any bracket so it must lay flush without any obstructions.

Other Thoughts: Never got to fully use the product so ill rate it as average

1 out of 5 eggsIncompatible with Intel WX58BP

Pros: Nice unit, solidly built, looks as it if would be easy to install on a Motherboard that had NOTHING around the processor.

Cons: Intel WX58BP has capacitor, resistors and other circuits around the CPU mount that are raised above the board. This unit cannot make contact with the CPU unless parts are removed from the motherboard.....it physically does not fit on the board.

5 out of 5 eggsChilly!

Pros: Works extremely well for the price even being forced to blow one cooler into the next on a dual setup. Solid mounting and solid construction. Fans are quiet but when ambient temps raise, these fans can push some air.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: NEVER listen to a review from someone that would give any product 1 egg. Remember, incompetence is not an option on tech knowledge, but 1 egg is!

4 out of 5 eggsLOUD!!!

Pros: Seems to work, my system has been available 24/7 for months. It is a workstation but the users won't power the machines down .... ever.

Cons: LOUD, LOUD, LOUD. We refer to the system as the Jet. I have tried repositioning them but can't get them to do anything than roar. THey are not always going but when they do people start to fasten their seatbelts and put their tray tables up.

Other Thoughts: using: SUPERMICRO MBD-X8DAL-i-O in an ANTEC SONATA 3 and a Quadro FX 580
