1 out of 5 eggsregret buying it

Pros: -good looking
-fits nicely
-cool blue light

Cons: -won't last for a year b4 acting up

Other Thoughts: I have almost the same experience as "woolfecs".
This fan served my 3930 fine for 8 month and now it gets my CPU to 80C w/o any OC or hi loading. I checked thermal re-seated the pump and tighten the screws. it works around 60's degrees only when my AC is on. During the day my Asus mobo shuts down as CPU reaches 80c. I'm not sure what has changed with this fan, I checked the rpm and it seems like working as it should be. Not sure, but there might be something in the cooling mechanism or the radiator. Should I contact intel about this? does anyone know what's going on? ... thx!

1 out of 5 eggsI would not buy again.

Pros: Looks cool.

Cons: Poor performance. Out of the box it kept my i3930k running around 50c +/- 5°c. After 8 months I started having issues with it maintaining temperature. It actually hit 80c a few times. This was under minimal load, only surfing the internet and my system is not overclocked

Other Thoughts: I purchased a Corsair H90 which I'm running with a 2nd 140mm fan. My CPU is now running 39-43°c no load and under minimal load.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Intel!!

Pros: Great temps with this installed in a push pull setup. With i7 3700k stock clocks I idle at 24c, load temps on intelburntest on high stress are 42c. I pushed the processor to 4.4ghz and load temps on intelburntest were 55c max after an hour. My Coolermaster EVO 212 got 27c idle and 60c full load stock clocked on intelburntest. Overclocking got up to 67c with coolermaster Evo 212 overclocked at 4.4. This Intel cooler is awesome, looks awesome and cools amazing!! Best of all worlds without spending a ton on a full legit water cooling system.

5 out of 5 eggspretty amazing

Pros: -works extremely well
-looks amazing (glowing LED)
-intel quality
-closed tubing makes it impossible to spray water all over your computer's guts
-never requires maintenance (aside from occasional cleaning)
-video installation guide on youtube

Cons: -I'm not going to lie... it was tricky to install.
-limited placement and maneuverability due to the fixed length of the closed-circuit tubing

Other Thoughts: finally water cooling has become a legitimate option for mid-range consumers. unlike the water cooling systems of the past, this thing does not take a phD in electrical engineering to install... nor is there a risk of a leaky seal destroying your computer.

intel created an instructional video that outlays the installation process. Admittedly, installing this was complicated and stressful... but of course, it's a 1-time only procedure that takes 15 minutes or less. After it's installed, and you see that beautiful, glowing, blue "intel" LED light up, you will feel like you have transformed your computer into the space shuttle or something. it looks and performs awesome.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Gets the job done

-Fits in most cases

-Lights up

Cons: -I thought it would perform much better for the price.

-Lights aren't so cool after a while.

If you have the money and the right case, go for the H100i or H110 (see what size radiator your case can support).

If you want to save money, the Hyper 212 Evo is FANTASTIC for the price, I have read. You can possibly get even better temperatures with it in push/pull configuration compared to this water cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsA very useful product.

Pros: This liquid CPU cooler has about twice the heat transfer capability of the air CPU cooler distributed by Intel. The unit is quiet and a switch is provided to turn of a blue led that illuminates the fan. A six core core i7 3930k which ran at 75C when fully loaded ran at 58C when used with this water CPU cooler.

Cons: The mounting instructions are not very clear. Youtube instructions provided by Intel are available on the web.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat cooling

Pros: -Great Cpu cooling I7 3770 overclocked at 4.22ghz
-Look amazing with the blue LED and does not look like other blue fans, its like the LED is intergrated in the fan itself
-Easy to install but does require a bit of knowledge

Cons: Not really any except maybe the plastic feet, would of like to see them a bit more sturdy but not a big deal.

Other Thoughts: Should include thermal paste in a tube instead of a tear off plastic

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the job! and Looks great!

Pros: Keeps my i7-3770k idling at 25-29°C and running around 30-35°C and looks great while it does it with its 120mm Blue LED Intel fan!

Cons: Sketchy installation booklet and not the easiest to install in general.

Other Thoughts: Video was more helpful than booklet by a long shot. YouTube is your friend!
