4 out of 5 eggsUPDATE ON ITS APPLICATION

Pros: 1- DOUBLE ball bearing
2- 92mm
3- Three speed
4- Quiet (on low speed)
5- Three pin (motherboard) or four pin (molex/psu) connections
6- **Could be used as a CPU fan on some aftermarket CPU heatsinks if your motherboard has *three pin CPU fan power connection (could connect via molex to psu, but then you lose ability to see fan speed/CPU temp in motherboard BIOS)

Cons: 1- Fairly loud on med/high speeds
2- Unless you first thread HARD fan housing mounting holes with included screws install can be a hassle
3- No way to really mount the fan speed switch
4- Antec should include two plastic zip ties to mount the speed control switch to fan housing

Other Thoughts: I ended up putting this fan on my wife's pc, which has a RocketFish RF-UCPUCF after market fan/heatsink. I removed the RocketFish fan (loud/ineffecient) to discover the Antec fan would mount perfectly onto the after market heatsink. Since there was no way to control fan speed via the wife's motherboard BIOS this was the perfect solution! Her board has *three pin fan power headers, so it was plug n play. I connected it to the CPU fan *three pin motherboard header and set the fan speed to medium. I turned her pc on and now it is alot quieter and the CPU runs almost 6C* cooler than with the RocketFish fan! Is it a case fan or a CPU fan? LOL
I still deducted one egg; due to the fan being fairly noisey on med/high settings and no zip ties included to mount the fan speed switch to the fan housing.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Fan/EGGcellent Service

Pros: 1- Competitive price
2- Three speed
3- 92 mm
4- Moves alot of air
5- Quiet (on low speed)
6- Molex (psu) and 3 pin connection (motherboard)
7- Includes fan mounting screws
8- FAST DHL/USPS free shipping (arrived in 3 business days)
9- GREAT newegg customer service (Harper)
10- Well packaged

Cons: 1- On medium/high settings it is fairly loud (FYI I am picky-like a quiet pc)
2- Unless you thread screws into hard plastic fan housing first install is hassle
3- Like to see two small zip ties included to mount speed switch to fan housing

Other Thoughts: I deducted one egg over above average fan noise on med/high settings. I have used Antec case fans before, so I already knew about the HARD fan housing and threaded the provided mounting screws into the housing *before I installed it in my pc case. Great price/great experience/great product = more newegg purchases in the future!!

5 out of 5 eggsAntec 92mm DBB fans

Pros: Three speed, semi clear to match many cases and quiet. DBB should provide a long life too.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Replaced 5+ year old antec 92mm sleeve bearing fans that ran 24/7 with no issues, but were getting worn out. These should last at least as long. Antec still seems to make a good fan.

5 out of 5 eggsOnly Fan i ever buy

Pros: These antec fans no matter the size are all i have ever used, and all i ever will use. i have only had 1 fail in 120mm format and that was after 5 years of constant use. while the other 3 installed at the same time are still working perfectly.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsGood airflow

Pros: Fairly inexpensive
Not DOA
Moves quite a bit of air

Cons: Move than I wanted to pay for a fan, but cooling is not something I mess around with

Other Thoughts: I used two of these, on a push/pull fan setup for a Hyper TX3, seems to work well.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth it

Pros: The fan works great in my HTPC, not loud. Glad it doesn't have L.E.D.'s, would have been annoying.

Cons: The only negative comment I have is that it comes with a Three position speed switch, which there is no where for it to go except zip tied to the frame of my case and cannot be accessed from the outside.

3 out of 5 eggslouder than I expected

Pros: looks good. speed control works good.

Cons: I bought this to use on a htpc but it was too loud, even at low speed.

Other Thoughts: Egg saver shipping really sucks. Traveled all over the southeast and took over a week to get here. Will not ever use egg saver again.

2 out of 5 eggsOverrated

Pros: Moves a decent amount of air, reliable.

Cons: It was pretty noisy, I mean upon finally upgrading from the stock 92mm fan, I was expecting this fan to blow me away. I could be wrong, but it might be just me that I got what seems a pretty lousy product that I am able to hear the fan going, even at low speeds, I just use medium now, to have some nice airflow while not banging my ears out. I do not turn on the low speeds, because I am running a graphic card and my cooling is not that great. I always set the fan speed to high, until around 5 months ago when it began to be intolerable and when I began noticing how bad the noise was and how at ease my ears were everytime I turned my computer off.

Other Thoughts: It was my first Antec fan, but compared to other non-name-brands with LED I had I was not impressed. In fact the stock fan that came with this PC, while it did not move as much air as this one was at least less noisier so I could have lived with that. Bottom line: you get what you pay for. Again it was not my first choice to get this fan as it was a gift from a friend (yes it was brand-new), I would upgrade to one in the $15-20 range if noise levels were a concern, and if you want to run your fan at high-it will likely serve your purpose although it might not be what you bargained for, specially with the praise this fan's getting.

4 out of 5 eggsQuiet, but

Pros: Quiet, comes with molex adapter for powering fan w/o mobo connections

Cons: Not as much CFM as I'd like

Other Thoughts: Using two of these with the Sunbeam controller (N82E16811995073) in a small enclosure. Speed selector switches work (but I have them set to high), about four inches of cable if you want to mount them outside.
Decent fan for the money.
