4 out of 5 eggsCheap Screws

Pros: A simple good fan. I liked how it came with a physical speed controller with low, medium, and high settings and I also liked how it came with the 3-pin connector and the molex. The wires are pretty long, which comes in handy. Also, it came with screws for its installation (see Cons section). It's pretty quiet at low setting, a little noticeable at medium and somewhat louder at high, but that is understandable.

Cons: The screws it came with me were cheap and stripped easily. The holes on the fan for the screws are not grooved so it takes some effort to screws the fan in. Luckily my case came with some extra screws for add-on fans.

4 out of 5 eggsNot ball bearing

Pros: reasonably quiet, good airflow

Cons: Newegg description is wrong

Other Thoughts: This is the fan that came installed in the Antec TX640B case that I bought in February of 2007. I am just now replacing it and with the same fan. I shut my computer down at bedtime, so it isn't on 24/7 but that doesn't seem like too bad of a lifespan for a fan with a sleeve bushing. Just be advised that this is NOT a ball bearing fan. Newegg has the description wrong. If you want one with ball bearings, this is the one: "TriCool 120mm DBB 0761345-75121-6".

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: 1) Built well (doesn't feel like it'll fall apart after a couple of months)
2) No cheesy LEDs
3) Three speed switch
4) Choice of connection either to the motherboard or PSU

Cons: 1) Screw holes aren't threaded. Not a big deal--it just means that you have to personally twist the screws into the holes in order to successfully screw the fans onto your case.
2) Price? Not a big deal though. Just wait for them to go on sale (unless you need them in a hurry).

Other Thoughts: I have two of these installed in my Antec 300 as front intake fans. They're set on max (through the speed switch) and they're not loud at all. I guess this depends on each user.

4 out of 5 eggsGood fan / good price

Pros: *Moves an ample amount of air
*Three speed switch is awesome
*Noise level is appropriate for all three speed settings
*Cables have enough length to get you where ever you need to go in any direction you want
*Nice, pro color

Cons: *The screws are a pain in the patootey to get in w/o a nuclear powered jackhammer. No grooves. Gotta make your own.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent fans, but low setting too loud

Pros: They work

Cons: Bottom setting doesn't get quiet enough for the amount of air it moves. It's only doing 39CFM, but it is still an easily audible 25dba. There are a lot of 40+CFM fans that are in the 15-20dba range.

So basically it kind of defeats the purpose of the 3 speeds because none of them are silent. You basically end up with a jet turbine setting, a not that quiet low airflow mode or the middle which is kind of like an ordinary case fan the is not that quiet but moves good amounts of air. Most people will just end up parking it on the M setting.

Other Thoughts: If I had to do it over, I would just pick some single speed fans to match my noise/airflow requirements. These seem to trade off a lot of that in exchange for the switch. In the end, not a very good bang for the buck.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid fans, still working great

Pros: I've had these fans in operation for now 2 years and 8 months, with my desktop on at least 90% of the time. They have not given my any issues at all. I have 5 in total (2 tri-cools that came with my Antec case, and 3 that I bought) and all 5 are still operating as they should.

Some may complain that having the speed switches on a short cable inside the case is inconvenient (versus an externally accessible fan controller unit), but I've never changed mine so this doesn't bother me. All 5 are set to "low" (3 intake, 2 exhaust) and since there are so many of them, they do a great job cooling -- without generating much noise.

Are they absolutely silent? No. They are fans, and they are spinning. Plus there's 5 of them. Go figure. But they are barely audible. The only time I notice the noise difference is when I turn my computer off, as the difference between 5 fans spinning and no noise at all is noticeable. Otherwise, these things are like a whisper at 'low' setting, and have not produced any winding or squeaks from the bearings.

Cons: This is a small con: No directional arrow

I prefer fans that have an arrow embossed on the side, so it's clear which way the air is pushing. Definitely not a huge deal, but I thought I'd mention it.

Oh, and some people say "the side with the sticker over the bearing is the side the air is blowing", but I've seen cases where that is not true.

Other Thoughts: These are now even cheaper than when I bought them in 2010. So yeah, get them. They rock. If you want even better silence, invest in some rubber mounts.

5 out of 5 eggsAntec 3 speed 120mm case fan.

Pros: Neweggs service, price and delivery. Discount for buying more than one and free shipping. These work well, I have used a lot of them. The adjustable speed lets you to be able to control fan noise and speed. Ball bearing driven so they last a while.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: What can I say, it's a fan and works as it is supposed to.

5 out of 5 eggsQuality fan

Pros: Well built fan. No LEDs. 3 speed switch.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Purchased one of these fans 5 years ago for an extra on the side panel of an Antec 900. The fan still works great with almost constant use.
