2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Cool looking
-Fan works
-Different settings are handy
-Quiet

Cons: -Only worked for about 1-2 months before it started falling apart. I was partially to blame though because I kept fiddling with things inside my rig.
-The mounting screw is absolute trash. It wouldn't stay up on it's own, I had to prop it up on something when it did work.

Other Thoughts: I got it for free with one of my orders. I see why.

5 out of 5 eggsSpotCool

Pros: These are great for northbridge coolers on systems using liquid setups.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Like any 3 pin powered fan, the cord is ugly. After shrink wrapping them in black they look much better.

4 out of 5 eggsWhat a great specialty fan

Pros: A great versatile cooling element!
- Great build quality
- Rotating head
- Great accent lighting
- Pretty darn quiet even on HI.

Cons: - The neck doesn't support its on weight when mounted level or above fan head. (see comments below for fix!)

Other Thoughts: I don't understand a comment left on this product.
1. The light is WAY to bright.
- I hope you have your fan facing the appropriate way, the "exhaust" side of the fan is where the LED lights are. They cascade a pleasing glow on my MOBO, not in my face.

Fix:
While it would have been nice to see the build quality of the neck a little higher, its nothing a little extra MOD can't fix. All I did was snip a piece of wire clothes hanger and sheath it in electrical tape around the neck. This added the extra rigidity it needed to mount my fan diagonally down. Takes 5 extra minutes. But because I had to do this, I deducted 1 egg.

Use:
I use this fan to spray cooler air on my memory chips, north bridge, and south bridge. It is a bonus that is also breezes across my Corsair H60 heat sink and socket. I attribute this fan to lowering my bridge temps at least 10%.

4 out of 5 eggsSystem Cooler

Pros: Great way to add a extra fan to a small media case. Works great and keep things cool.

Cons: A little hard to install in a media case. I ended up taking a pci bracket and drilling a hole to mount it. Other than that no issues.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to any one buying a small media pc case.

2 out of 5 eggsWouldn't recommend

Pros: It is easy to install and point in whatever spot you need.

Cons: It is loud and the LED lights are too bright. Doesn't cool very well.

Other Thoughts: I am currently running two 770's in SLI and I bought this to point at the top card to help it cool off since it is smashed between another GPU and a sound card. It did absolutely nothing to the temps and it is the loudest fan in my case. I will leave it in until I clean out my case, but after that it is gone.

2 out of 5 eggsNot like the old SpotCool

Pros: Similar design to the old SpotCool.

Cons: Antec started using a cheaper goose neck that doesn't work nearly as well as the old one.

Other Thoughts: I have used several of the old Antec SpotCools in past builds. A fan bearing went bad on a SpotCool in one of my old systems, so I ordered a new one from Newegg. Apparently, Antec has started using a cheaper goose neck assembly that doesn't stay where it is bent. So what's the point of that? Don't mess with a good thing. I'd rather pay a few bucks more for a SpotCool that does what it's supposed to do.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: None

Cons: This is fan is noisy when connected to a not controlled header aside from that it does not cool the thing you want it to cool

Other Thoughts: I got this free but just letting the guys who want to buy this don't waste your time get a good fan than this
