5 out of 5 eggsSuper quiet

Pros: Used 2 of these on a build for a customer in an Antec 300 V2 case... I put one on the side facing the video card and one forcing air through the front to cool the HHD. Really quiet and did a great job of cooling. The soft rubber connection points reduce all vibrations to zero.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: The front mount I used long screws and mounted easily and the side mounted fan I used the rubber fasteners...they look great and are very quiet as well as giving excellent cooling.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet fans

Pros: These fans are great and quiet. I use 2 of them for intake fans. They push a good amount of air and even after 2 years I still haven't had any problems.

Cons: Price

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible

Pros: None

Cons: Attempted to install as a side-mount to push air into case, it rubs against the case, making an outrageous noise. Evidently, this fan can only be used as an exhaust. Frame is too large to fit as a rear exhaust in my case - which is designed to hold a 120 mm exhaust fan. Plastic fasteners installed per install diagram CANNOT be reused. Self-threading screws (not provided) will NOT thread into rubber fan corners. Waste of time and $ - will throw it away & start over.

Other Thoughts: Hard to believe that a company like Antec would market such a poorly designed product.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Anonymous,

The TrueQuiet 120 is a standard 120mm fan,

When you say "Frame is too large to fit as a rear exhaust" do you mean that the silicone mounting holes are what's making it hard to install?

We would really like to help you with this, please call us at 1-800-222-683 and we'd be gladly to help you the best we can, step by step.

Thank you,

Antec Team

2 out of 5 eggsNot Impressed

Pros: Rubber Cushioning to reduce vibration noise.

Cons: Fan ran slow; created low air flow when compared to other 120mm fans

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet!

Pros: Quiet!
Bought this exactly because my old fan would make too much noise.
After adding it, I don't have this issue anymore!
I liked it so much, I am replacing the rest of the fans in my computer with Antec TrueQuiet fans!

Cons: nothing!

5 out of 5 eggsForget about the stock fans

Pros: Quiet, efficient, well built. I refuse to use the stock cooler fans, that come with many cases. They are usually low quality, save Antec, People don't even know how quiet their computer could become, if they would buy a quality brand-name cooling fan (or 2). Don't go with the ones included with the case you buy. And don't go with the cheapest stuff either, because you gonna regret it.
I only buy fans, that has a speed adjustment and I can put it on minimal speed, because if I need more than that, then my built isn't efficient. Unless of course, it's a 100 outside.

Cons: none.

5 out of 5 eggsBEST / Favorite budget fan!

Pros: These fans operate at complete silent levels even on high setting.

The noise level is 19 db (that is very quiet) the air push is reasonable at that level.

The pros push slightly more air and run at 1200 rpm where these max out at 1000.

If you cant afford some Noctuas Pick up these or the Pros. You will not regret it.

The pro version runs at 1200 rpm, the same speed as the silent setting on noctua fans. They dont push as much air, but they are quite close.

If you pay $6.22 like I did for each of these fans when on sale. Youll see what ana amazing value that is,

The pros at full price are 17$ which you can get some Noctuas (on sale) for. So maybe the Noctuas are a better go. But if you catch either the pros or the regular Truequiet fans on sale They are worth every penny!

Cons: I do wish they went a little faster. But for the price i payed ($6.22 each w/free shipping) I am not complaining....

Other Thoughts: If you have an option in your case for either 120mm fans or 140mm and you are planning to use these fans, Go with the 120mm. They push more air and are quieter.

I put 5 of these in my Corsair Carbide Air case that is currently air cooled, aside from my gpu, my comp is all but silent.

Something to note : I do not use these on a Radiator currently my PC is fully air cooled. Also my case has a lot of airflow due to the steel mesh so it doesnt build up a lot of pressure.

If your comp is water cooled and you have a more enclosed case I would do more research about these to see if they will help with the positive pressure. If not you may want to go with some Noctuas ( or something else) for that.
