5 out of 5 eggsPerformance Paste!

Pros: - Immediate and astounding results
- Easiest application
- Dropped in temperature from 79-80 degrees centigrade to 71 degrees centigrade

Cons: More options available, like a 6 gram within 12 gram tubes would be a nice thing

5 out of 5 eggsGreat stuff!

Pros: This paste reduced the temperatures by 5c on my i5 4670k 4.5ghz, 1.25v. Before I used the the paste that is included with the 212 evo and this is better by a lot. The 212 evo tends to be softer, almost like mayo, and I don't like it. This thing worked perfect for me as it is a thick paste and it works perfectly with the dot in the middle of cpu method. Temps on my i5, being cooled with a Cryorig R1 Universal are 65c under full load with prime 95 for 30 min. Idle temps are at 30-35c with an ambien temperature of 25c.

Cons: Not that big of a con, but the price is on the expensive side of thermal compounds but it does a great job.

Other Thoughts: If you use the spread method to apply your paste stay away from this one. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Don't come back later and give a negative review. Rice sized dot right in the middle works best.

5 out of 5 eggsDiamonds are forever.

Pros: Great long lasting TIM. For the price, you get a lot of it. No noticeable temperature difference between this and Arctic Silver 5, but this has the benefit of being non-conductive as well as having a very small curing time.

Cons: Thick. After warming it in very hot water for 5 minutes, it was a bit better. Not worth removing an egg for some prep.

Other Thoughts: I tested this on three separate parts. I'll list the results here. A previous reviewer here contacted Antec and they recommended the pea method for this paste - thus I used the pea method.

i7-4970 CPU - replaced Arctic Silver 5 (cured)
Results - no discernible difference

nVidia GTX 980 Reference - Replaced stock thermal pad (cured)
Results - no discernible difference
Note - nVidia probably uses very high quality thermal pads for their GPUs, most likely from Shin Etsu or Fujipoly. I can't speak for other brands though, but not worth swapping TIM on reference 980.

2009 Dell Inspiron - Stock TIM (cured, broken)
Results - Over 10C lower.
Note - I thought I had broken the fan after I replaced the old TIM because it wasn't spinning. Turns out the fan doesn't spin if the CPU doesn't get hot enough. Breathed new life into my laptop, but at this point any new thermal paste would.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Awesome

Pros: Easy to apply, and does its job extremely well.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I have seen a lot of reviewers stating that it is difficult to apply this compound, but before I applied it I just warmed it in my hand for about a minute, and I used the application tool supplied with it, and had absolutely no problems. I did have to remove the heatsink while I was trying to figure out how to put the heatsink on, and noticed that after it setup for a couple of minutes the compound will break up if you try to move it, so it is just important to leave it alone once it is applied. Also I applied a thin coat to the processor as well. This is going to be my new go to paste.

5 out of 5 eggsMy new favorite

Pros: Works very well, easy to use. I've only had it on for a couple of days, but I can see that the temps (CPU and GPU) are as good or better than they were with my old favorite TIM, Gelid Extreme.

I haven't seen how many applications I can get out of a tube, but it should be good for many installations. You don't need to use a lot of it.

Cons: Cost. It is pretty costly as TIMs go, so if you plan on removing and reinstalling your CPU/GPU cooler/water block a lot, you may wish to use something cheaper until you get your final setup "dialed in."

Other Thoughts: I definitely did not find this product to be overly thick or hard to spread, as so many people here have mentioned. I would call it a medium-bodied TIM, not clay-like at all. It spread very easily using the included spatula, with the grease at room temperature. The dot-in-center method works just fine with this grease too.

After seeing all the reviews about how thick this stuff is, I expected it to be much harder to work with than it is. I wonder if Antec changed the formula somewhere along the way. I wish manufacturers would not change products and not change the name-- when they do, there is no way to know if the product you bought is still the same one reviewed.

CPU is an I5-2500k OC to 4.7ghz with the Deep Cool Gamer Storm cooler with my Corsair SP120 PE fan (a combo which manages to consistently outperform my TR True Spirit 140 Power) at 1.35v. GPU is a GTX 760 at 125% TDP and Arctic Accelero Twin Turbo II cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsfor any cpu, it's an effective paste

Pros: awesome thermal paste, kept my i7 3930k to 4.2 ghz at 39c and i didn't even oc the system.
i use it on my corsair h100 water cooler for the cpu.
ppl complain about this being a thick paste, u want it thick for more diamond particles per cubic nm between cpu and cooler.

Cons: none
(i dumped all my other pastes on my brother so he can moan and gripe about my pcs running better than his)

Other Thoughts: case was modified so i could fit a 20inch 3-speed fan to the side of it, i didn't like the idea of having 1-2 dozen 120mm fans on it to keep it cooled, so i took out all fans except the one on the chipset on the motherboard(voids warrenty if i do remove it), then applied packing tape to any case vent area i didn't want to have air go thru. so all airflow goes to mobo, ram, radiator, pwr supply, and hds and vid cards. no wasted airflow. i use 4 stage filter on the intake side of the fan to blow into the case.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Thermal Paste

Pros: This stuff is amazing. Due to the high thermal conductivity of diamond, this paste combined with a Zalman 9900MAX dropped my temps from 67C to 37C under load (AMD FX-8350 @4.2GHz) and around 19C idle temps. I'm not really sure why the other reviewers were freaking out about the difficulty to use this paste, it has the same consistency of Arctic Silver 5. Just put a pea-sized dot of paste on the CPU, then just put the heatsink on. Pressure and gravity from the heaksink will spread it out as normal.

Cons: This paste is more expensive than other paste, but if you're going to be doing any overclocking it's completely worth it to spend a little more to drop your temps.
