It packs an incredible amount of air flow of 175.03 CFM at 8000 RPM, or 4.957 cubic meter per minute, which is much higher than that from most 120mm cooling fans. Life expectance is 50,000 hours (or 11.4 years if you operate the fan 12 hours a day) at 40 Degree C with 15 - 65% RH, all thanks for industrial grade materials plus top notched, high quality dual ball bearing. This is an excellent cooling fan for industrial computing environment where quality and cooling capacity is of top concern. For a balance of noise level and cooling capacity, you can use a fan controller to adjust fan speed when needed, just make sure the fan controller can supply enough power for the fan. Operating temperature is -10 to +60 Degree C with 5 - 90% RH. Protection includes Over Current Shut-Down Protection when rotor is locked, and Polarity Protection which can withstand reverse connection on positive and negative leads. This fan does not contain ozone depleting substances such as PBBs, PBBOs, CDCs, PBBEs, PBDPEs and HCFCs. This fan has 3 wires lead with fan speed sensor output, and is wired with a 3 pin fan connector. To reach its maximum speed, you will need to supply 3.10A or 37.20W of power at the minimum. Most motherboards' 3 pin headers may not be able to supply enough power. You can either use the included cable adapter to power the fan through a Molex 4 pin header from a common PC power supply, or you can power the fan by a fan controller (just make sure it can supply enough power for the fan) through the 3 pin connector of the fan.
