3 out of 5 eggsLoud, but works properly...

Pros: It cools off my CPU rather well

Cons: It is rather loud...
It is only 3 pin, although I knew that going in...

Other Thoughts: Honestly, the fan works as advertised, but it is loud. I tried to use a Noctua low noise adapter, which worked properly until I started tampering with it...so it could just be a faulty restrictor on Noctua's end. Good product.

4 out of 5 eggsToo loud without a fan controller

Pros: Very high CFM. It definitely delivers on the high CFM performance. Very sturdy and doesn't fall apart.

It did reduce the temps on my WD Enterprise drives by about 6 degrees celsius compared to the default fan I had (from 36 C --> 30 C).

Cons: Too loud out of the box. It does sound like vacuum cleaner as someone stated earlier. I wish these fans came with a setting switch outside of the fan so I don't have to use a fan controller (like some of the Enermax fans).

Other Thoughts: This was suppose to replace the fan in the Icy Dock FatCage MB155SP-B that I had and it did the job but was too loud without a fan controller. Also this fan doesn't work on the low fan setting that the MB155SP-B has. It only works on the high setting.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fan - Great Service!!

Pros: My case was overheating and replaced the case fan with this. So much better. Easy as can be to install!! FAST Shipping!! Oh-My-Gosh!! I ordered this on a Sunday afternoon and got it the next day! WoW!! Great Job NewEgg!!

Cons: Only con would be price over-all - I bought a heat-sink fan at the same time - more $$ than heat-sink - oh well -

Other Thoughts: Purchased to replace stock Dell Inspiron 530 case fan. Much stronger and keeps the case cool

Thanks again NEWEGG!!

5 out of 5 eggsGot another one

Pros: Just purchased another one to replace the fans in my new Noctua NH-U9B SE2 - great CPU fan - had one running in my old system for over 3 years 100 % non-stop - Noctua makes good coolers - the only 4 pipe 92mm cooler I have found - unfortunately their quiet fans are not going to cut it here in southern Arizona.

Cons: Expensive and somewhat loud in a quiet system - non issue in this case - set to "quiet" in your system bios or get a controller..

Other Thoughts: This has to be the best 92mm CPU fan of all time: [1] 92x20mm its light weight - [2] 11 blades reduce vibration - [3] stands the test of time - [4] it is hi power but will hook up to any motherboard CPU fan header without burning it out - Don't try to hook the PFB0912DHE-F00 - 170+ CFM version to your motherboard 3.7 amps will fry it.

5 out of 5 eggsExcelent quality

Pros: Delta has the best fans for high CFM

Cons: Noise, but that's not a concern for something in a server closet

5 out of 5 eggsRead This Before You Buy!

Pros: I don't have this size but I have the same model in a larger mm size. These fans are the best on the market, I still have a delta fan from the 1980's that still works to this day! These things push a lot of air and that reverse fan shape built into the rear of the fan captures more air off the spinning fan blades than normal consumer fans. This is what they put in servers because they're so dependable and efficient.

Cons: A lot of stupid people who don't know anything about the proper use of fans buy this, then complain about the noise. >.>

Other Thoughts: Don't listen to reviews that say these are too loud, if someone buys a Delta and they don't know you're supposed to use a fan controller to tame them down to a lower RPM, that's their own fault, not the product's fault! This is a high performance fan so even at lower RPMs its still going to push more air than most of the consumer level fans sold on this site. I suggest a Sunbeam multi-channel fan controller that can handle 30 watts of power PER each individual channel. Any less and you might fry the fan controller channel you've hooked the fan up to. Be wary of fan controllers with bright glowing knobs, they're incredibly annoying in dark rooms. (You can use a black permanent marker or black auto touch up paint and a tiny detail brush to cover bright glowing indicator lights.)
