5 out of 5 eggsvery quiet

Pros: Extremely quiet, on sale for $4.99 each

Cons: Spin at 900 rpm so you need extra fans to keep the same cfm moving

Other Thoughts: Replaced the two loud bright LED fans that came with my gaming rig with four near silent fans without lights. Now my CPU cooler is loud, lol

5 out of 5 eggsQuietest fan I've ever heard

Pros: Very quiet 900 RPM fan rated at 11db. I got this to replace the 1200 RPM 19db case fan that came with my CoolerMaster Elite 120 case. The CoolerMaster 1200 RPM fan wasn't bad, I just wanted something quieter. I can barely hear this Enermax fan. I chose this over variable speed fans, because most variable speed fans have a top speed faster than 1200 RPM which would produce more noise. Got it during a 20% off sale.

Cons: None really. Probably not as much air flow as the original 1200 RPM fan. Not really a con for me, because my Mini ITX AMD E350 motherboard doesn't get very hot anyway. Some reviewers complain that the cord is short. Not really a con for me. The cable is the same length as the CoolerMaster 1200 RPM fan I replaced. 3 pin connector, not 4. Not as quiet as an iPad?

Other Thoughts: Very quiet system with:

Gigabyte GA E350-N motherboard
8gb Kingston BLU DDR3 memory
CoolerMaster Elite 120 Mini ITX case
Enermax 120mm 900 RPM case fan
Cougar RS 400 power supply (thermal controlled 120mm fan)
Samsung 830 128gb SSD
Running Linux Mint 13 Maya MATE

Probably the quietest desktop computer I've ever had!

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet

Pros: Very Quiet! I am only using one rear exhaust fan and replacing the stock case fan (Scythe) with this has cut the noise down tremendously.

Cons: I don't feel that much air flow, but hey, it's only 900RPM...

Other Thoughts: I think if you don't have an overclocked machine (like mine), you probably don't need to have crazy airflow, so you can get away with using these nice, low speed, super quiet fans. Only time will tell though :-/

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a fan.

Pros: -It's a fan.
-It's quiet.
-It pushes sufficient air, 42 CFM isn't bad at all if you have 3+ intakes.
-Can pop out the blades for cleaning.
-Fancy pattern.
-It's called twister... Get it?

Cons: -They go out of stock a lot!
-It can't push 500 CFM and stay below 20 dBa at the same time.
-No arrow to indicate direction of air flow, you have to look at the blades and think about it. I don't like thinking.

Other Thoughts: Not sure what's up with that other reviewer saying his RPM's were reading wrong... None of my 4 I have read at more than 1000 RPM (Although they are slightly above the 900 RPM design spec, perhaps a slight tachometer inaccuracy).

3 out of 5 eggsNice but flaws

Pros: 1. Quiet
2. Great design

Cons: 1. RPM readings were bizarre, way off

Other Thoughts: I'm not sure what to think honestly, but when I installed these on my case and read the RPM levels wow were they crazy, I got 2000 rpms, then 800 rpms, then everywhere inbetween, just nuts. And this was with 2 brand new ones, only the third I had was reading normal speed 1000 rpms, so I couldn't really tune these because of that. I ended up buying a few of their Magma fans and those worked properly so I'm just sorta lost. I will give mine to a friend and use the Magmas now ONLY.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very quiet.
Moves just enough air.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This fan doesn't blow tons of air, but in most situations you don't need hurricane force wind blowing through your PC. It moves just enough air to exhaust the hot air from a typical PC.

4 out of 5 eggsVery quiet, durable

Pros: Quiet
Quality/Durability
No stupid LED lights

Cons: Lower CFM

Other Thoughts: I really like these fans. They are very quiet, high quality, durable, and you can easily pop out the fan for cleaning.
I also like the aluminum band around the fan - nice touch.
You can also pop out the fan blade for cleaning.
I would like a little more airflow from it but I would gladly sacrifice a little airflow for less noise any day.
I've used Enermax power supplies for years and they last a long time and are of excellent quality. These fans also show an amazing amount of engineering to create a quiet fan such as this.
