Pros: Quiet, effective cooling. Looks pretty good, too.

Cons: It is very large. It caused me to have to move my rear chassis fans to the exterior of the case, and it blocks one of my RAM slots. Installation was more difficult than similar CPU coolers I've installed.

Other Thoughts: Re-review. I was rather critical of this cooler, initially. Come to find out the flow on those rear chassis fans I had to move due to its size, was backwards. Once I switched those around, it started working a whole lot better. My AMD 8320 now runs at room temperature idle, and only hits about 42°C under load, even overclocked to 4.2 GHz.

Pros: Looks very nice. Covers chipset as well.

Cons: Installation was rather difficult compared to other large CPU coolers I've installed in the past. It says its made for CPUs up to 200 Watts, yet it cannot keep my AMD-FX 8320 125 Watt processor cool under load at 4.2 GHz with only a 0.15 Volt increase. Under load it got hot enough to shut down.

The heatpipes block one of my RAM slots, and forced me to move the rear chassis fans to the exterior of the case. (nMedia 6000B case).

Other Thoughts: Seems like an awful lot of work to install and accommodate this thing, not to mention expense, for a rather disappointing result.

Pros: This cooler is big, which is a good thing. Good price with a rebate.

Cons: It completely blocked CPU power connectors and was very difficult to work with, but that is half the fault of the motherboard.

Would look better with an LED fan.

Cons: My CPU idles around 40 degrees celcius. That's horrible.

My friend has his cpu overclocked to 4.4 Ghz and when he stress tests it on Prime95 (CPU Load 100%) he gets a maximum of 45 degrees celcius. and he has a crappier cooler than mine!

On 100% load my cpu reaches temperatures up to 96 degrees celcius?!?!

I have applied and reapplied the thermal paste and reposition the fan but nothing is working. I dont want my Heatsink fan to be the reason I have to buy a CPU every year so Im going to be buying a different Heatsink

Other Thoughts: I got this thing around christmas time but I really havent been putting that much stress on my cpu unless Im just playing a game or rendering and exporting a video. Even doing those things this cooler is not doing it's job. My cpu hit's the 70s when it;s only under 30% load. not cool Enermax

Cooling performance, got a drop of 12C, in a 20C room, from the stock cooler that come with my A10-5800K.
It is well packaged.

Cons: The installation guide is somewhat not understandable ... I watched the video from youtube on newegg channel.

Pros: - Good cooling performance, my 2500K @ 4.4 ran 29C idle and 73C load with the stock cooler and Arctic Cooling MX-2, now it idles at 26C and 59C load with Arctic Cooling MX-2.
- The downward airflow helps cool the VRM heatsinks.

Cons: - Fairly quiet, but still louder than I expected. The stock cooler is quieter than this unless I'm running Prime 95.
- The directions could be a bit better, but it's easy to install.

Other Thoughts: - The heatpipes block the first memory slot so make sure you have low profile memory or can run dual channel in slots 2 and 4. Some motherboards won't boot if the first slot is empty. I have low profile memory so it fits fine.

Pros: Dropped idle temps by 4-7C depending on the core..
Dropped my video rending temps by aorund 20C!

Its pretty quiet but you can hear it but not loud or bad at all imo and is one of the reason I bought it. I didn't want a loud cooler (or tower cooler) and this cooler is working great great for me imo.

Other Thoughts: I am pretty impressed and happy with this cooler for my needs. With my stock Intel cooler with MX4 I was seeing temps rendering HD video 76C-81C. With this cooler with MX4 I am now seeing 57C -61C rendering the same HD video. Idle temps dropped 4-7C.

No MB cut out on my MB case tray so took out MB and installed the cooler. It was very easy to install just put the cooler with the pegs up on the table and laid the MB right over it..
No clearance problems at all with all 4 ram modules, MB HS's or GTX 460 video card not even touching anything.

Pros: Very effective, good build quality, nice appearance, reasonable price, quiet.

Cons: None to speak of.

Other Thoughts: Immediate drop of 10 C. over my previous very respectable cooler, using Arctic Silver 5, even on a very low BIOS fan speed setting!

You have to install a proprietary back plate, which means pulling everything out of the case. The cooler is anchored with screws from the back. I like this scheme better, though, than the usual clip in the front. It's more secure.

The down flowing fan is nice. It seems like a better match with the case fan in the back than my previous cooler, which blew right at the exhaust fan.

Pros: Doesn't have any problem cooling my Phenom II 965 overclocked to 4.2ghz. Doesn't block any ram slots on my micro-atx motherboard but just barely.

Cons: Not the quietest thing but that can be fixed with a few bios tweeks.
