4 out of 5 eggsTypical Enermax

Pros: Excellent cooler, solid, well made, keeps the CPU it's on hovering at 32c under load. That temp will probably drop more once the thermal paste finishes setting.

Cons: Very poor quality fasteners. The fasteners come in three parts. Thumbscrew, post and nut.

The thumbscrews and nuts looked okay. The studs sticking out of all four posts(which are plastic shrouded and spring-loaded) however, almost looked like they were cast instead of machined.

The kit comes with a nut socket that allows you to tighten the nuts onto the stud part of the post. It's also slotted for a Philips screwdriver, but I never even got that far. I had already gotten all four nuts on and was tightening them. Tightened two successfully using the wrench using a criss-cross pattern with just my fingers.

Wouldn't you know it, the third one snapped off.

I pulled the unit back off the CPU. Broke out a micro-meter and my big box of fasteners. I've been building computers for years so I have a fairly impressive amount of old screws and posts and studs from various sources over the years. Measured one of the unbroken posts when fully compressed and pawed through the box for about five minutes. Found a solution that was the exact length as the compressed post. Made up a second from the box, just in case.

Remounted the cooler, this time with no problems.

Other Thoughts: Huge cooler. Seriously huge. Bigger than I expected, although it still fits the case it went in.

Typical Enermax. High quality mixed with super-cheap.

Similar to the Enermax Chakra case I bought six or seven years ago, it's well built, with a solid design.

Just like that old now retired case, which with an undamaged packing box, had a cracked front bezel that was hanging on by only two tabs, this unit suffers from having seriously sub-par fasteners.

Would I buy it again? Yes. The cooler itself is high-quality. I'd just be making up a replacement for a post before I began installation.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing and quiet

Pros: I went from 60+ degrees under load on a stock heatsink for my i5-4670k, to 46 degrees MAX on load; this is while playing BF4 on high settings. And it's so quiet; the LED lights are cool and can light up your room pretty well when the lights are off -- or you can go strobe mode on it.

Amazing fan.

Cons: You will have to remove your motherboard to install it, but other than that its fine.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Quiet!

Pros: This is an incredible fan. For my build, i got the AMD FX-8350 which comes with a VERY noisy fan which was very obnoxious, i could not stand it anymore so i began looking for a powerful fan that was as quiet as possible. This fan was that fan. When i run games like planetside 2, i cant even hear this thing, you would really have to listen for it to hear it. It cools my cpu no problem and i have no heating issues at all so if you are wanting to pair it with the cpu i stated below it will work. I was also attracted to the LED light up feature. My build runs with red LED's and this does add a little extra red to my cases red LED's.

Cons: I only have two issues that are not for me, just for other to be weary of. This thing can be quite big on your motherboard, it may cover one or two memory slots which it did do with me, but i didnt need the one it covers so no biggy. If this is a concern for you definately measure first. Also they fan has several LED options, and one of the options is like a LED spinning action which is only available in blue which i would have liked to use in red.

Other Thoughts: If you are thinking about getting a quiet fan, get this one. NOW

5 out of 5 eggsIt works Great

Pros: Nice downdraft flow. Sits over my northbridge on my asus fx990 sabertooth motherboard. Left system run for 24 hours at idle nothing has gone over 32c.
Its in a fractal r4 windowed case with 6 140mm fans 3 running off the fan controller at 7.5 volts and 3 on mb pwn headers. Led lights are really cool.

Tall ram with big heat sinks might have trouble running this cooler I have gskill aries low profile so no issues

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The led lights are just wild I have the red running solid right now but I change it now and then.

If you are looking for a good cooler that helps keep you Mb cool too Get this.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This CPU cooler is amazing. At 100% CPU usage the temp only got to 33C. With the stock heatsink my idle temps were around 36C. The LEDs have rich color and with all the settings you can change the look of your computer anytime.

Cons: As with any high performance heatsink size can be an issue. If you have tall heat fins on your memory then you might have a space issue. I would recommend low profile memory.

Other Thoughts: My CPU is an AMD-FX 8120

5 out of 5 eggsEnermax ETD-T60 Vegas Duo CPU Cooler

Pros: Great CPU cooling! Downward directed fans make this device extremely effective for CPU cooling. I had to find out the hard way after replacing a recently installed Cooler Master Hyper N 520 with vertical fans that couldn't keep my system from occasionally shutting down due to CPU heating issues. The Enermax ETD-T60 has had no problems at all with my core temps noticeably lower. The other benefit are the switchable LED settings (red/blue color and flashing/no-flashing). I never even knew my computer case had discrete viewing slots as this is my first internal component with LEDs. The cool blue color matches a few of my other peripherals (Alien TactX keyboard, Razer Mamba, etc.) that are set on similar color modes and really upgrades the overall appearance of my computer system.

Cons: Large size can impact usage and installation. It's not tall although wide and you could be blocked by other internal components besides the possibility of covering/blocking memory slots. I've seen comments on other vendors websites where users resorted to trimming cards or leaving memory slots unfilled if using taller memory modules (especially with heat fins) to get everything to fit properly.

Other Thoughts: Make sure and look at the physical dimensions and measure to ensure you have enough room. If you have room you can't go wrong with the Enermax ETD-T60 Vegas Duo CPU Cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Perfect. OVerclocked my i7 Ivy Bridge to 4.3 ( which runs much hotter than the Sandy Bridge processors ) and still manages to keep it under 30C!!!!!! Never seen that kind of cooling before. Great job

Cons: Large fan 120mm blocks one Memory slot. Large RAM with heatsinks like Rip Jaws MUST BE PUT IN FIRST PRIOR TO INSTALLING THIS, because you will NOT be able to fit it once installed. But this is to be expected with a 120mm fan, and they are very clear on this point in the description so you should know what you're getting into beforehand.
