5 out of 5 eggsGreat LED fan

Coming Soon!

Pros: Many LED color variations
Great clean red and blue led's, no washout
Good looking smoked grey fan shroud
Manual variable speed control
adjustable modes to suit your mood or to suit your install

Cons: LED's do not work below 700rpm
not available in 120mm

Other Thoughts: I have these as intake fans on the top of my clear acrylic Danger Den case directing air on the ram and voltage heatsinks.
The LED's provide a VERY clean and solid color giving the case a great look, The brightness of the LED's does vary with RPM so if you try to set them rpm too low via your MB controller (rather than the manual control) the led's will not light up. This is not a big deal as the rpm you will set these on is higher than the low threshold for led's to work.
On the highest setting the fans move a lot of air for their size and will be audible, although not annoying

5 out of 5 eggspretty... amazing!!

Pros: This fan spins at 2500 RPM which is average cooling for a fan. the lights are much more brigher than your average single colored LED fans. the 11 stages is pretty awesome, you can change it to your mood. Inside of a clear case, the see-through black casing around the fan looks good and the combination of the blue/red mixing together looks awesome. all around a good fan for an awesome price. I only bought one, but it would look 10x better with 3 or 4

Cons: absolutely none.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Fans

Pros: As others have stated they move a decent amt of air and for the most part pretty quiet when turned to about 3/4 full power.

Cons: As a previous customer mentioned 1 fan of the 3 I ordered lit up but did not spin at all. The cost of return shipping After I started the RMA made me stop.
I might as well order another when I make my next purchase from here as it pretty much the same cost.

Other Thoughts: The con toward the Egg is more the shipping and handling hassle for something about this price. Shipping costs back to them pretty much equals cost of a new fan so will just order at a later date.

The Manufacturer is more at fault for the faulty fan then Egg is.

5 out of 5 eggsPerformance+

Pros: Moves a LOT of air at max, ability to control fan speed with built in controller, a variety of light configurations including LEDs off, well built, quiet when at medium to low speeds and all controllers are built on separate wires to be placed conveniently around your case.

Cons: Very loud when set to max, strong plastic making it sometimes difficult to screw into place and all controllers are built on separate wires. (The third Con is not really a complain but more of a disclaimer.)

Other Thoughts: This fan does everything I have wanted it to. I use it in my Vantec HDD cooler as an upgrade and to add aesthetics to my case theme. For an 80mm fan it moves an enormous amount of air when set to max, though at the sacrifice of noise. This thing is incredibly loud when set to 100% speed. But just back it off even just 15% and I can't hear it over my GPU fan.

It is a pain to screw in though. The plastic which the fan is made of is very dense and rigit. I actually mishandled one screw and stripped it out.

This isn't a complaint but more so a disclaimer. Last thing is the wired controls. These are incredibly handy in cases like mine where I hide almost all the cables in my rig, and just have these controllers sticking out just underneath where my hard drives are mounted. But if you're limited in space, these wires are incredibly long. I'd guess around 12 inches long each.

Would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a strong 80mm fan regardless if you're using the LEDs or turning them off.

3 out of 5 eggsOne of 2 fans doa

Pros: Wow it's a brilliant lightshow.

Cons: One fan of the pair I ordered doesnot spin, lights function, however..

Other Thoughts: I suppose herin lies the problem when ordering such things from the 'egg. hassle of packing and return shipping barely worth it. Just gotta count my losses on thisone.

5 out of 5 eggsneat fan

Pros: can adjust fan speed, variety of color and patterns. easy to install, new egg delivered soo fast.

Cons: On my Sigma case I had to use the old fan screws, drilled small hole on back plate of case to string out the fan controls. no wires showing and easy to adjust. not really a con but a minor refit that looks good.

5 out of 5 eggsquite

Pros: these fans are not very load at all. i have them on about half speed and they still push a decent amount of air and do not make much noise. my gpu auxilary fan and cpu fan are loader than my case fans. also i like the color and color select mode. at first i liked the strobe because it was cool looking but i quickly got over that.

Cons: the manual controls are nice but also kinda basic it is just a small dial. also the color mode switch is also a small button so these controls look stupid on my case because it is clear and you see everything.

Other Thoughts: i am not sure if you could write some sort of program and make these usb so that you did not have to have the manual controls i think that would be much better. i would not say that these suck at all they are worth it. although i dont have much to compare it to.

1 out of 5 eggsbad fans

Pros: quiet i guess

Cons: first was stuck on strobe blue. got another, it is stuck on strobe red. the fan works but something about the way they switch modes is very poorly made.

Other Thoughts: i just wanted solid red and blue for a nice purple look.
