Combining outstanding cooling capability and multi-color LED lighting brilliance, the ENERMAX T.B. VEGAS QUAD fans raise the bar high in PC case cooling solution. It has 4-color LEDS with blue, red, green and white, plus 6 switchable lightening modes. The unique circular type LEDs come with 48 (4x12) diodes and are up to five times brighter than any other LED fans. The blades are also designed with a focus to center the light to increase the brightness of the LEDs. Twister bearing technology ensures long lifetime up to 100,000 hours with low noise. The fan speed and noise are regulated by PWM speed control, while smart APS (Adjustable peak speed) control provides 3 peak rpm options. The isolator-mount, instead of commonly used screws, allows easy installation and helps absorb vibration, while the detachable blade design makes the cleaning work a breeze.

  • newegg Adjustable Peak Speed (APS) With a small switch at the edge of the bearing, the peak speed can be changed between three modes: Ultra Silent Mode (500-1000rpm), Silent Mode (500-1300rpm), and Performance Mode (500-1600rpm).
  • newegg Twister Bearing Twister bearing technology uses a nano magnetic design, which is self-lubricating and minimizes friction. This results in a maximum fan life-cycle with minimum noise. In addition, the innovative modular frame eliminates buzzing sounds by enhancing the stability of the structure.
  • newegg Four-Color LEDs with Six Modes Circular type LED with 48 (4x12) diodes delivers up to five times brighter luminance than other LED fans. The four-color (Blue/Red/Green/White) LED, with six switchable modes, performs non-stop light play, producing radiant, splendid color fun that makes your computer stand out.
  • newegg Carved Halo Frame The carved halo frame design provides powerful cooling with 20%~30% higher airflow.
  • newegg Detachable Blades The detachable fan blades make cleaning quick and easy.

1 out of 5 eggsok i guess

Pros: Fan is pretty good looking.

Cons: I bought this fan for a the mixture of red and blue but this fan was not able to reproduce it i guess i had a defect because the other 120mm was doing it fine.

Fan is not moving that much air and is noisy. After 2 years of usage the fan started to make a really annoying noise i had to unplug it.

Other Thoughts: Buy a gentle typhoon or a noctua

5 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

Pros: Works great, cool colors, keeps the case cool.

Cons: This sucker is BIG. I didn't realize how big a 120mm fan is. Seriously, measure your case. This thing is about 3.5 inches square.

5 out of 5 eggsVEGAS IT IS - but without all the noise

Pros: I have 2 of these fitted in my trusty old Silver and Chorme ANTEC P160 case. I spent a bit of time making a mounting panel for the mode and fan speed buttons.

Excellent price with rebate. Cheaper than buying one single fan.

I can get some great effects varying the modes on the front and back fan. Most of the time I have them set on static blue LED.

Very quiet at 1400 to 1500rpm, front fan (intake) is noisier at full speed, but I run the rear (exhaust) at full speed.

The rubber mounts supplies are very positive. Have a pair of needlenose pliers and a flat blade jewellery screwdriver to hand to make working the rubber mount through the fan or case holes easier.

Supplied with sticky pads for mode and speed switch mounting. Also has a molex to 3 pin power converter if you're not using a MOBO fan supply.

Cons: All the flashing modes get irritating after a while, so don't lock the mode change button inside the case and make them totally inaccessible without dismantling your rig - You'll want to change it later - if only to show off the other modes to your friends.

The rubber fan mounts require a bit of work to install and your case fan holes might need a drill run through them to enlarge them sufficiently for ease of mounting/dismounting the fan.

Other Thoughts: The blades are said to be removable for easy cleaning. I tried pulling them apart but was chary of damaging them - so they may be removable, but not that easily and especially not with the fan 'in-situ'. Anyway whats wront with a slightly damp cloth :)

Make sure you check the fan orientation for required airflow BEFORE you install the rubber mounts. I don't recall the airflow being printed on the fan housing but I could be wrong .

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fans

Pros: These are great fans, would be perfect if were PWM but have a manual speed control and I can still control them somewhat from my board. The effects are great, multi-modes. I have mine on the Blue Propeller setting. Watch demos on youtube if unfamiliar. Paid ~$17 each I think. Quiet on slow speed, normal/not-ugly, on high. I have two of them in my front.

Cons: Non other than not PWM but that's listed in the description.

Other Thoughts: Have some fun, put some lights in your case.

5 out of 5 eggsBest looking fan

Pros: Beautiful led's , eye catching illumination,

Cons: no complaints

Other Thoughts: Even though the led's are very bright, i wouldnt consider it a con since you do have the option of turning them off. I do wish I had a seperate controller to control the light intensity
