Combining outstanding cooling capability and multi-color LED lighting brilliance, the ENERMAX T.B. VEGAS QUAD fans raise the bar high in PC case cooling solution. It has 4-color LEDS with blue, red, green and white, plus 6 switchable lightening modes. The unique circular type LEDs come with 48 (4x12) diodes and are up to five times brighter than any other LED fans. The blades are also designed with a focus to center the light to increase the brightness of the LEDs. Twister bearing technology ensures long lifetime up to 100,000 hours with low noise. The fan speed and noise are regulated by PWM speed control, while smart APS (Adjustable peak speed) control provides 3 peak rpm options. The isolator-mount, instead of commonly used screws, allows easy installation and helps absorb vibration, while the detachable blade design makes the cleaning work a breeze.

  • newegg Adjustable Peak Speed (APS) With a small switch at the edge of the bearing, the peak speed can be changed between three modes: Ultra Silent Mode (500-1000rpm), Silent Mode (500-1300rpm), and Performance Mode (500-1600rpm).
  • newegg Twister Bearing Twister bearing technology uses a nano magnetic design, which is self-lubricating and minimizes friction. This results in a maximum fan life-cycle with minimum noise. In addition, the innovative modular frame eliminates buzzing sounds by enhancing the stability of the structure.
  • newegg Four-Color LEDs with Six Modes Circular type LED with 48 (4x12) diodes delivers up to five times brighter luminance than other LED fans. The four-color (Blue/Red/Green/White) LED, with six switchable modes, performs non-stop light play, producing radiant, splendid color fun that makes your computer stand out.
  • newegg Carved Halo Frame The carved halo frame design provides powerful cooling with 20%~30% higher airflow.
  • newegg Detachable Blades The detachable fan blades make cleaning quick and easy.

5 out of 5 eggsalmost completely silent

Pros: -quiet
-good pressure
-looks awesome

Cons: -2 of the red leds were out when I unpacked it but I wasn't too worried about it since I didn't really care about the leds... however after getting it fully installed and hooked up to full power they turned on and it looks great!

4 out of 5 eggsGood airflow

Pros: High airflow, relatively quiet considering the amount of air it pushes.

Cons: No equivalent that comes without the LEDs.

Other Thoughts: The LED settings are remembered after power cycles. Nice feature I didn't see advertised anywhere.

5 out of 5 eggsJust what I was looking for

Pros: Spectacular light show, airflow the same or better than the rear exhaust it replaced.

Cons: No instructions at all; default motherboard connector does not power all modes. May be too bright for some

Other Thoughts: I have a Thermaltake Core V71; a big full tower with a full window display. Using a Corsair H90 cooler with the radiator mounted top rear, moved the 200mm LED fan to the front position. This placed all the lighting at the front of the case, with the exception of the red LED strip on the Gigabyte Z97 Gaming 3 motherboard. Went looking for a blue 140mm rear replacement for balance and had no intention of adding red fan lighting, but the motherboard and drive activity light provided nice contrast. I searched NewEgg by ratings and the Enermax T.B. Vegas Duo caught my eye. Favorable reviews and YouTube demos along with low noise rating were enough for me. NewEgg delivery arrived quickly (today) as usual and I just installed the fan. Modified an expansion slot cover for mounting so the controls could be accessed from the rear of the case, and used a fan connector on the motherboard. Hit the power button and I was less than happy to see only the red LEDs were working. Shut it down, double-checked my connections but on restart same result. I remembered seeing reviews where this issue was mentioned and was not looking forward to the return process. I couldn't find any references on the web nor Enermax site but on one of the YouTube demos someone asked if the fan had to be connected to the power supply or would it run from the motherboard. I changed the connection from the motherboard to molex, and on power-up all lighting modes work! It would have been nice of Enermax to mention this, but give this a try if you only see one color with the motherboard connection. 11 modes give you plenty of options, I'm running the Vegas mode (sequence through all) until the novelty wears off. It's quiet, moves the same amount of air or better than the stock Thermaltake 140mm. Other than the lack of documentation, my only gripe would be a third control for LED brightness is missing and would have knocked this out of the park. Not enough for me to take it down though, I like what it adds to my build!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Fans

Pros: - Bought the Red/Blue VEGAS 140mm fans at $19.49 each
- Very quiet on low setting. Does make a slight hum when I have all five 140mm fans installed
- lots of color modes, but I think most everyone will just use the solid color mode anyway.
- long cable length is great for large cases

Cons: - does anyone actually like the blinking LED modes? Too annoying for me. I just stick with solid on or off.
- part of the cables at the base of the fan are bunched together so tight, that it makes a bulge on the side of the fan. When I had to install it, I had to re-set all of them to compact it down, in order to lay flat against the side of the case.

Other Thoughts: I think I read someone else's review that actually complained about the long cable length... they obviously never heard of a zip tie. If they sold these fans with short cables, there would be tons of returns because they don't reach in large cases.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Fan EVER!

Pros: BEST air flow while being dead quiet. These replaced my Noctua's on my rads, much better air flow!!! I have a drawer full of fans, only the Akasa Vipers moved air better, but they are seriously more noisy. I like the LEDs, at minimum voltage are just visible, as mobo steps up voltage they becomes step-wise brighter, nice speed indicator! Decor is more classy than their older Vegas fans.

Cons: Not really cons, but there are two dongles attached with wires as long as power cable. One is for adjusting LEDs, other adjusts fan speed. Would like these to be removable for neatness.

Other Thoughts: Attached power cable is VERY long. For neatness I prefer Noctua's solution with a short cable, and then include an extension cable. LEDs can be nicely adjusted for a conservative blue only. I don't like red, some do.

5 out of 5 eggsEnermax Duo Vegas 140mm

Pros: Bought two for push/pull on radiator. Awesome looking fans with options to switch up the lighting profile and fan speed. Pretty quiet for a 1500 RPM 140mm fan. Adjustable speed if you need it! You can make it all blue, all red, or both with different lighting patterns.

Cons: Not much of a con, but just not quite sure how i want to mount the fan speed and lighting controllers. Long wires that i have to try to hide somehow, some may put that as a pro.

Other Thoughts: 5 eggs for this fan as long as they stay working.

5 out of 5 eggsThis is the LED fan you are looking for

Pros: Bright, quiet at full speed, over 10 different color combos, including red and blue and combinations of the two. Did I mention they are really bright?

Cons: Has 3 separate wires originating from fan: 1 power supply, 1 on/off push button, 1 small brightness dial that doesn't seem to actually make any noticeable impact on the brightness of the fan. With a little effort you can hide the wires inside your case but I felt it was a bit excessive.

Other Thoughts: Have 2 fans looking cool in my InWin GRone white case with blue window
