Other Thoughts: Did i say how good this thing looks,i did some research and found that this thing really does cool and by cracky it does.With a stock cooler i was getting about 50c on idle on a amd fx6300 after putting this on i now get 21c idle and 48c under load and i cannot hear it.I have a white windowed case and it looks good in it,the led is a plus.

Pros: The aesthetic of the system is great. It does the job of cooling the CPU. I have an AMD Phenom II sis cores processor. This processor it gets really hot especially when rendering videos and playing games. The cooler keeps it at manageable labels of temperature. At idle the temperature reach 31 cc when pushing the limits get hotter than that. However no crashes nor performance issues.

Cons: Its been almost a year that I bought this cooler (7/22/2014) and all of the sudden has started to do a humming sound. The sound coming from this cooler is really load to be herd during the day time. Its very annoying the sound. I really don't think this will happen with all the units, nor this sound interfere with the performance of the cooler.

Other Thoughts: Good cooler for the price, just disappointed from the quality of the product.

Pros: was the same size that it says it is in the specifications, fits the case i have and keeps my 12 Core APU under 40c when playing Far Cry 4 at ultra. Pretty quite too which is a big upgrade from the stock cooler. Also did i mention its white XD. PLEASE READ!! look at the specifications and measure your case before buying this. tired of people who are complaining it wont fit in their case because its to big.

Cons: non really other then the logo on top of the heat sink was scratched out of the box but you can't see it really so not even a big deal.

Other Thoughts: *THIS FITS FM2+ there is a review of someone saying this does not fit FM2+ and he needed to go find a FM2 board to use it.....-_- the FM2+ and FM2 sockets have the same mounting points. im using a MSI A88Xm gaming board and its a FM2+ board and you know what.....it fits great on the board and works, that guy should take his tech level dropped down 2 notches if he does not know this, but yes it fits FM2+ and i feel his review should be removed do to the fact its the only one where the guy has no idea what he is talking about....sorry for my rage im done now and BTWs this cooler out did the NZXT X41 kraken i had before.

Pros: Keeps my FX-6300 at 19 C. at idle, highest I've seen it was 45 C. while I was encoding and ripping a DVD. My FX-6300 is overclocked to 4.3 gigahertz.

Pros: So first off is performance. This is a really nice heatsink, and has 4 heatpipes directly touching the cpu. This makes heat transfer very fast, especially since they're made of copper. The heatpipes also go up on both sides, acting like 8 pipes and also improving heat transfer. That's all fairly normal, but what really sets this heatsink apart is the special white coat and the thought gone into airflow. ALL of the fins have little notches and small vents cut out so that the airflow from one side is redirected to the back of the pipes, as well as moving all the air upwards slightly. That keeps the backside of the pipes clean as well as exposing them to air so that they cool off quicker. And the special white coat on pretty much all metal on the heatsink prevents corrosion if you live in a humid place or happen to spill water (?) on your heatsink somehow. Also the fan is also good quality and has a removeable blade and adjustable speeds as well as some sweet white LED aesthetics. Though there's only one, there's room for two and the mounting system for both fans is intuitive and very easy. I also love the mounting system which holds the heatsink tightly to the card, but not so that you're stressing the motherboard. The result of all this? Very low temperatures. Personally I own an AMD FX-8350 8-Core 4.0Ghz processor which pulls about 125W. Ordinarily, the CPU would be very hot, enough that most people that buy it recommend against using the stock heatsink because the CPU will overheat. This heatsink keeps the CPU at 20 degrees Celcius at idle, and slightly above 40 degrees at full load. THIS HEATSINK IS AMAZING. There's plenty of room to overclock, and the results are really good.

Cons: Actually, There's only one or two cons with this heatsink. The first being it's VERY big. It barely fit in my case and almost rubs against the side of the window. I had to remove my top two fans to get the heatsink to fit in my midsize case. Also, I can only install 3 sticks of RAM as one slot is blocked, but I could actually move the fan to the other side and I could use them all, but blowing into the heatsink is better than sucking out of it. Also it would kinda mess up the whole air vent in every fin thing the heatsink has. Though this isn't technically a con, but nitpicking more like: Between the 4 heatpipes that touch the CPU are little gaps where the aluminum block the pipes connect. Can't help but be annoyed by thermal paste stuck in those gaps.

Other Thoughts: All in all, if your case and your motherboard have the space, BUY THIS. It performs very well for an air cooled system (the best I've ever seen) and has very many attractive features, and looks great with a black and white version. Especially for only $40-$50, this is well worth it IMO.

Cons: The heatsink plate that has contact with the top of the processor has several creases where it's not perfectly flat. This causes thermal paste to travel (in the creases) to the ends of the heatsink, sometimes causing paste to go off the edge of the processor. Not really a huge deal if you use very little paste, however if a novice uses this cooler and uses a little too much paste, it can cause some damage if the paste were to get to the contact pins of the processor. I may have just gotten a dud, regardless I was a bit disappointed when I saw how it spreads the paste.

Other Thoughts: All in all it is a great cooler. Just wish the quality control was a little better.

Pros: Okay so the cooler is great works with FM2 motherboards and everything and keeps AMD CPUs like the X4 860K on great temps..

Cons: Funny thing is I had to literally look all over ALL online store retailers even Local ones in order to find a FM2 board that was below 100$...I literally had to find an MSI FM2 mobo...And that was a hassle...do you know how hard it is to find a MSI FM2 motherboard? Its like digging for a unique grain of sand in a desert...its NEAR IMPOSSIBLE..

Other Thoughts: Other than it not being compatible with FM2+ motherboards...its a great CPU cooler and I cant complain..btu please Enermax make CPU coolers like this one compatible with FM2+ motherboards..its a hassle having to find FM2 motherboards because its an older socket so of course it'll be harder to find anythign with it..

Pros: Have to start off by saying this thing looks awesome! If you're looking for a CPU cooler that goes perfectly with white/black setup then this one if for you!

The cooler comes packed in a fairly sturdy box with cardboard bracing the cooler and the sides of the box. Not bad packaging, but not the best either.

This cooler is very well built, and sturdy. You can see the little attention to detail the makers put into this thing (for example it has little ventilation holes in the top to help ventilate air out of the top of the cooler, as well as out of the sides).

It is quite large, so make sure you read the dimensions and make sure it will fit your case. You may or may not require low profile RAM due to the size depending on your setup, so again, be mindful of this.

As for temperature performance this cooler excels! Even on a CPU that is fully over-clocked the max idle temps run around 30C, while the full load temps run from the mid to high 50s and sometimes barely hit 60. (also note, this depends on the overall airflow of your current setup!)

The fan on this cooler can be easily removed and even has detachable blades for easy cleaning. LEDs can be turned on and off via a little switch, or you can adjust your preferred fan performance on via a switch on the back. There's a quiet mode, a balanced mode and a performance mode that each have their own individual level of noisiness. The performance will be the loudest as it runs the fan upwards of 2,200rpm, but this fan is extremely quiet in the lower RPM range. Additionally, you can add a second fan for a push-pull configuration for even more cooling efficiency and aesthetics(but be aware of the additional size increase as well!).

Overall, a great CPU cooler that performs well and looks great while doing it!

2. Dang near silent with the right settings.
3. Fan includes rpm settings, and led on/off
4. Looks dang sexy.
5. Good overall build quality.
6. Not too expensive.

Cons: Packaging was a little upsetting. Would of liked to have seen foam instead of cardboard. This caused a couple bent corners of the heatsink during shipping, nothing substantial, just carefully bent them back.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this cooler to anyone who wants to go the air cooling option rather than an A.I.O.
