5 out of 5 eggsGreat fan

Pros: Used this fan to make a homebrew socket A CPU cooler for my ancient athlon XP rig which I refuse to let die. Using a homebrew base with a copper core and a custom mount, this fan has allowed me to drop the XP's overclocked temps by 20C over the stock cooler (fan running at 4500rpm).

Comes with a decent fan controller too (nice metal one, no cheapo plastic).

Definitely a good choice for serious cooling upgrades, Would buy again.

Cons: Powerful but loud, of course if you're on this page you probably already know what you're getting into (crazy RPM = crazy noise). Not annoyingly loud, but at full blast you can hear it pretty easily. Fortunately, not high-pitched at all and no whine - just the "whoosh" sound of the air.

Sucks a lot of juice off of the 5v rail - keep this in mind if your PSU is weak or you've already got a bunch of led's/lcd's/fans. Set to full speed, this fan actually turns off all of the led's in my case and a front-panel lcd I have due to its energy drain.

Other Thoughts: Not sure if its on par with the Delta's level of quality, but this fan doesn't deafen you either...

5 out of 5 eggsGood fans

Pros: Uses split power and controller wires so you can still have the speed controlled by the motherboard without having to run the power through it. This cuts down on the heat that your motherboard creates.
I like the control knobs.
I've had these for 14 months now and they're still running just fine, almost inaudible at the lowest setting.

Cons: Really loud at any setting above 30% of the knob turn.

Other Thoughts: The controller knobs wouldn't fit in my case since its tooless and has a plastic front.
I ended up using sticky tack and "tacked" them into the plastic front.

4 out of 5 eggsnice fan

Pros: Really does move a lot of air.

Cons: Really loud.

Other Thoughts: If this could be quieter it'd be much nicer. Not that the noise bothers me, but other people in the room more :P

5 out of 5 eggsCan't be beat

Pros: Moves a lot of air!
Includes speed controller (which is a must)
Includes grate and mounting screws
Looks nice

Cons: Loudest one I ever come across, but it's ok because I can simply turn it down

Other Thoughts: I have two of these installed on a custom laptop cooler I made. Before I installed these my temps were around 65C at idle and now they never top 45C even at full load.
At idle, with the fans on max, I get about 25C; but I never keep the fans that high at idle because of the intense noise.

All in all, it's a great product

5 out of 5 eggsGood price for a good fan

Pros: +Can be quiet
+Can move TONS of air
+Fancy speed control knob

Cons: -Extremely loud at even above .25 turns. Drowns out the TV at highest setting.

Other Thoughts: Great fan, I crank it up when I'm benchmarking it, and turn it down for everyday use.

5 out of 5 eggsCan be quiet or loud as all hell

Pros: Stylish fan controller on the front of your case (unlike other brands where its located on the back covering a PCI slot).
Includes Fan guard.
Well built.
Moves a metric ton of air.

Cons: Umm, loud on full speed? what did you expect?

Other Thoughts: I wish I bought 3 of these instead of 2. They are quiet at the lowest knob setting. They are still audible but around the same noise as a hard drive or something. At full blast it is kind of ridiculous but then again I was expecting that.
Didn't have any issues with the fan controller fitting in my 3.5" slot that some other reviewers mentioned.

Specs:
Lian Li PC65 case
Intel e8400 3ghz
4gb ddr2
ATI 4870
PC Power and Cooling 500watt silencer

Pros: Has been going strong for over a year. Great airflow.

Cons: If you do not own a fan controller or know you will not be using the one included...do not buy this.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat

Pros: People that consider purchasing this need to make sure that they know this fan is made for a purpose, its meant to move a ton of air at the sacrifice of noise level. But for all of those that have complained they have put in a rheostat to lower the rpm.

Cons: people complaining about buying something thats loud. Read the freakin reviews.

Other Thoughts: Great for watercooling loops. adjust the fan speed as you increase an overclock to meet the minimum cooling requirements.
