3 out of 5 eggsGood fan, difficult hookup

Pros: High quality fan. Good rep.

Cons: You must use the controller. The controller will not fit a rear card slot opening (like some others).

Other Thoughts: It would be nice if you could hook this up and vary the speed using the motherboard control present on so many deluxe motherboards.

5 out of 5 eggscompletely silent

Pros: completely silent. cool blue color. comes with rubber mounts, screws, thermal sensor, and molex inline power adapter if you don't want to plug directly into mobo. How cool is that?

Cons: There are none.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for something you can feel air blowing all the time on, this fan is not for you. This fan spins slowly and silently, but moves a lot of air since it measures 120 mm.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Stuff

Pros: 900 RPM fan that is dead silent. Moves a good amount of air. Have 6 of them in my Cooler Master Centurion. The only thing I here in my case is the VID card.

Cons: The thermal wire is a waste. I would rather see a PWM wire (4 pin connector) for the cost of the fan.

Other Thoughts: The rig --

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fan

Pros: Quiet fan, comes with the rubber mounting grommets to minimize vibrations and a separate temperature sensor.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have it connected to a Zalman MFC-2 fan controller. and it is used as my exhaust fan. The MFC-2 only puts out 11vdc, so the fastest speed the fan will run is 920 rpm's. I first used it as a CPU colling fan, but my temps for the CPU went up.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for HTPC

Pros: I have this mounted in a miniITX case (I had to do some creative cutting with a dremel) for an HTPC setup. This really moves a lot of air considering how quiet it is. My CPU fan rarely needs to turn on because of it.

Cons: Newegg shipping on little components like this can be kind of high. There should be a system so that if the cost of your order is high enough shipping is free or at least reduced.
