5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Bought 4 of these for a HTPC case used as a desktop. When i am surfing the web they can barley be heard. When i play Guild Wars and Unreal they come to life. they do not make unbearable noise, but you do know they are running. My fanless video card never goes above 130F and my CPU never hits 140F. At full speed all four move a lot of air.

Cons: The temperature sensor could have a longer cord. The sensor wouldn't reach the hard drive on the other side of the case. I just put it on the video card but i still would like to have one on the hard drive.

Other Thoughts: I was looking for fans that didn't need a external case control or a motherboard plug. these work perfectly.

4 out of 5 eggsGood fan

Pros: Quiet.

Cons: It doesn't have 4-pin connector for BIOS temp sensor and RPM control. It has its own temp sensor and RPM control. Not a dealbreaker for me, but not what I was expecting.

5 out of 5 eggsSo much better

Pros: I was ready to return my new case before I received my new fan.

Quiet and System is running very cool.
38C IDLE -

Cons: The instructions are not that clear that you can remove the temp lead and allow your bios/system to control the temp.

The RPM does not seem to be able to drop under 800 RPM-

5 out of 5 eggsQuietest fan I ever purchased

Pros: Extremely quiet with temperature sensor. So quiet I had to reopen my PC just to make sure I had power running to them. Silverstone also includes 4 small rubber plugs for vibration dampening.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very quiet even at full speed. Almost dead quiet at the slow speed. There is a thermistor attached to vary the speed which is a nice addition.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful fan

Pros: Works as advertised. Quiet. Pretty blue blades.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Used to replace a noisy fan inside a generic power supply. Nice and quiet now.

Cut up and soldered in included power adapter cable which allowed me to install the fan without hacking it's cables to pieces. Taped the temp sensor to a heatsink inside the PS. Simple.

Don't even notice it's on high until it slows down. Pulls plenty of air on low since that's where it stays about 99% of the time.

Will buy again. Looking at the 120mm version now that I know these work great.

5 out of 5 eggsIt smells good?

Pros: Looked like it would work... temperature probe was a plus.

Cons: Doesn't fit on case behind cpu...

Other Thoughts: If it were slimmer I would be happier.

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice fan

Pros: I just got this and installed it. It appears to work quite well. I have this as an intake fan for a Gateway computer that shockingly had no casefans at all. Adding this fan held yield a significantly lower system temperature. Seems pretty quiet.

Cons: It wasn't the cheapest fan of this size, but on the other it's temperature controlled.

Other Thoughts: This is the first case fan of this type I have owned. The little heat sensor is interesting, but I actually haven't noticed the speed of the thing vary much yet. It's stayed at about the same speed and has generally been pretty quiet. Also, I wouldn't call it good or bad, but do many people out there have a case that matches this fan's sky blue color? I like it just fine with my black case and see it whirring away in there, but it does look a bit peculiar.
