1 out of 5 eggsWorst fan ever

Pros: Fan is quiet and the 3mm blue leds are of good brightness.

Cons: I bought five of these fans and all leds on them are gone now. The fan shown in this picture is the 3mm led model fan, Silverstone now uses 5mm leds, the picture listed here is outdated.

Other Thoughts: Old revision FN121-BL used 3mm leds. Now it uses 5mm leds that are way to bright.

1 out of 5 eggsWorst led fans ever

Pros: They are quiet when they work how they should.

Cons: I bought five of these fans two years ago and all of the leds have failed or flicker on and off.

I bought two more of these fans at a later time and they are a different revision fan that uses 5mm blue leds that are way to bright compared to the original revision FN121-Bl that is shown in the picture on newegg using 3mm leds.

Other Thoughts: Silverstone is a failure with power supplys and fans. They also have reduced the amount of Aluminum they use in there newer cases compared to there all Aluminum cases like they used to make.

As time goes on Silvertones quality keeps going down.

1 out of 5 eggsSiliverstone is quality but..

Pros: I purchaced 5 of these fans for my TJ10 case after about a month the leds started going out one by one now on all the fans only one out of 4 led's work.

Cons: Led's go out one by one.

Other Thoughts: I'm looking for replacement fans although it is my fault for waiting so long im sure siliverstone would not RMA them because its been longer than a year. I liked these fans when they where new they where pretty. Now hrmm yeah they do not look nice in such a sexy TJ10 case.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fans!

Pros: Well made, air flow, no bearing wining noise. Comes with mole connector.

Cons: Hard to get screws into. You will need a cordless drill to get the screws in.

Other Thoughts: I bought five non-led (Silverstone FN-121) 120mm case fans about two years ago and I'v never had one go bad. Decided to go with the blue LEDs because the others were out of stock. These are worth every penny.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat fans, but...

Pros: I like these fans because they look great and are pretty quiet. They are ideal as case fans, but can also be decent CPU fans.

Cons: The leds die pretty quickly. After about 6-8 months of use both of my fans are down to two leds out of four.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Unit

Pros: Good airflow.

Quiet - My tower sits on my desk, not far from my head.

Clear case & bright LED look great.

Cons: Zero.

Other Thoughts: Installed as rear exhaust for Lancool KC62.

4 out of 5 eggsGood air but whiny

Pros: Moves a lot of air. LEDs are bright, but not obnoxious. The cord is nice and long.

Cons: Whiny at any voltage I've tried (7.5v - 11.5v). This is a motor-whine, not rushing air.

Other Thoughts: I only docked one egg for the noise because that may not matter to you. The air movement is excellent, and that should be the primary reason for buying a fan.

4 out of 5 eggsGood while they lasted

Pros: Quiet yet moves a lot of air.

Cons: Both died.

Other Thoughts: When I had two fans on constant 12v they lasted and worked flawlessly. After switching to a motherboard that can control fan speeds both died. The LEDs went first. That didn't bother me too much. But then my temps were going up and looked at the fans. Both were turning so slow you could see the blades individually. Switched them off the mobo to direct 12v power supply. Too late. A close inspection revealed the LED wires were fried.

If you buy these fans keep them off any sort of fan control.

They are very quiet if you cut out the grills on cheap cases. Especially the one used for intake. Get a wire guard if you can't keep your fingers out of spinning fans. ;P

They are hard to install. To get around that run a screw through each hole before putting them in the case. When putting them in the case turn the screw counterclockwise until you hear/feel the thread engage. Then turn clockwise to tighten.

I will buy again but the non-LED versions.
