4 out of 5 eggsBig and Quiet

Pros: Very Quiet
It cools very well

Cons: Big and bulky, screws were too short for this.
So if ya got short screws, lets say you will have trouble perhaps impossible to put it with really short screws..

Other Thoughts: I had to really think how to install it, i have got a mid-tower, and it barely fit and I had to come up with an idea and well Its now being held by strings. crazy glue didn't work :P

5 out of 5 eggsQuite impressed!

Pros: *Bright lights, for now
*Moves a whole bunch of air
*Easy install
*Light pattern makes it look tornadic!
*Fits perfectly fine on side window panel where old 180mm was.
*Quiet

Cons: *Lights may be too bright for some people
*It's 3 pin, not 4 pin, had to get adapter, big deal for me but not enough to dock points

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace my slowing 180mm fan that came with my case. It was an awesome decision. It pushes a lot more air than the original. It has bright blue lights, which I love. The light pattern is cool too. It's quiet, but I play with a headset so I don't really hear any outside noises. My only real complaint was, it's a 3 pin.... don't know why that's the industry norm for these big fans. Always thought 4 pin would be since that's what PSUs come with.

5 out of 5 eggsNice! Very impressed.

Pros: Extremely quiet.
Perfect amount of lights

Cons: Tough to install, though that is more due to the case design rather than the fan.

Other Thoughts: I installed this as a replacement for the stock top-intake fan for the positive pressure cooling system on the Silverstone FT01 tower. I had accidentally snapped off a blade on the original fan. The FT01 tower is one of the original ones with a design flow that makes removing the filter impossible without removing the entire fan (which is how I broke the original fan). I'm told this is an issue that has since been rectified, but since my case is old there is one screw that is nearly impossible to get to. The case made the installation a challenge, the fan installs like any other fan.

Once the installation was complete I fired the computer back up and was a bit concerned by the noise as I wan complete silence. Within a minute the noise stopped completely. I had to look to see that it was still working. It was still spinning and I couldn't hear the fan even with my ear right beside it.

Also, it is beautiful. I love the blue LEDs and it ads great style to the PC.

5 out of 5 eggsBlue Fan

Pros: Nice and quiet, moves a fair amount of air.

Cons: price, a bit high for a blue fan. But as the size grows so does the price.

Other Thoughts: Not a gripe but I bought this to go in my RAIDMAX Altas ATX case I got from here, it said it takes a 180mm fan on the fully ventilated side with an optional 180mm fan, but in fact it takes either a 120mm or a 200mm. I made it work with a lot of screwdriver work. Not the fans fault but I am mentioning it anyway.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent replacement.

Pros: - For such a large fan, it's the quietest of my 4.
- Sucks in a good amount of air.
- Nice, bright LED lights.

Cons: - Difficulty of installation.

Other Thoughts: So I bought this fan as a replacement for a 190mm fan that was on my Rosewell tower. I accidentally ripped the cord. :P

It's a nice replacement, other than how it's built. You'll need some long screws or good hands in ordered to get this thing sitting right. I had to screw it in at an angle because I only had short screws.

5 out of 5 eggsSomewhat slow

Pros: -good price for the size
-install holes are properly spaced
-silent
-led's are bright
-pulls a ton of air over my heatsink

Cons: the fan seems somewhat slow. even though its rated for like 700RPMs, at max it seems to only be going 500RPMs. i may be wrong though, as i can feel the heat leaving the top of my case.

Other Thoughts: it does its job cheaply and effectively, albeit not the biggest air hose ever devised. would reccomend.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful fan and Powerful

Pros: Easy to install. Bright Blue lights. Very quiet. Just the right size for my Stacker 830 custom build.

Cons: None whatsoever

Other Thoughts: Its a 180X180 fan. It's color is the same bright led blue that most cases have. The size was perfect for my custom build where and 200X200 would have not fit. This is perfect for the top blowhole on a Stacker. Some custom cutting to the top of the case needed but it is very nice.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Original is still a Great Cooler

Pros: Easy Installation. Good Stock fan. Nice Look. Great cooling properties. AMD and Intel ready with nothing more to buy unless you want the back plate that is suppose to add even more cooling power.

Cons: It has a pretty plain top. Its not ugly but I painted mine with Duplaco.... Metallic spray. Just the top for looks.

Other Thoughts: The Rifle 1283 is one of the best bangs for the buck for processor cooling. If you have an adaquitly vented case this cooler cannot be matched with anything else in its price range. To get better you will spend between $55- 75 dollars.
This cooler keeps my overclocked 940BE at a very cool 30 degrees Celsius. and 42 to 45 under stress. Awesome buy.
