2 out of 5 eggsClicking noise.

Pros: Moves air very well, and as advertised it directs it more so than a normal fan it appears.

Cons: Most likely a bad bearing, sleeve or something similar causes the fan to make an audible clicking noise. Increases in volume in relation to fan speed, so once it starts to spool up it becomes quite loud. In fact, it can be heard through a headset with moderate audio activity, in addition to being audible to others through VOIP with noise canceling.

Other Thoughts: Unfortunately, I installed the fan past the 30 day return window for Newegg, and Silverstone's RMA policy is more of a hassle and expense in time and money. Shipping would cost close to a new fan, and the replacement would be a refurbishment.

3 out of 5 eggsLasted around 9,000 Hours

Pros: Integrated fan grill
Quiet operation until recently
Under volts nicely
Great directed air flow

Cons: Lasted for 9,000 hours (powered on) before it started ticking with the fan mounted with the airflow going up. I guess this corresponds with the 26,000 hours mean time before failure, but I expected the fans to do a much better job as it aged.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend paying double for a higher quality fan than need to keep buying these every two years of heavyish operation if noise is a huge concern. If noise is not a huge concern, they are great for an office computer.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fan

Pros: I wanted something cheap to replace the rattly stock fan on my coolermaster hyper 212. This fan manages to be even quieter and its not even pwm! Does a very good job cooling, good static pressure, great fan for a cpu cooler or rad.

Cons: none so far

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Fan

Pros: Very quiet. cant hear of any other fans

Cons: Thicker than the stock Silverstone case fan I replaced it with, much shorter power wire, cant reach original slot. Looks kinda cheap

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Fans, Quiet, and Great Directional Airflow

Pros: Cheaper than competitive fans.
Includes mounting screws.
Silent when ran at full speed.
Amazing distance (can feel the air from 2 feet away).
Directional: the airflow isn't dispersed, but flows more like in a cone. Great to push air in a straight path to cool components in a specific spot.

Cons: These are meant to be mounted in an unconstricted location such as an exhaust at the top or back of your case, or even intake at the side of your case if your case allows it. I tried using it as an intake at the front of my Corsair C70. But once I put the front back on, the filter greatly restricted the airflow.

Unlike the AP121s, the 122s don't have the braiding on the cables. Also, the original 121's housing for the fan feels more solid, but the 122s feel like cheaper plastic.

Other Thoughts: Overall these are good fans. I have 2 and use them on the side of my case as intake to help cool my graphics card. They do push air in a column like flow.

One thing to note; the AP series of fans are NOT meant for high CFM airflow, but DIRECTIONAL airflow, meaning you're not going to fill your case with TONS of fresh air, but deliver air where it counts.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet and effective

Pros: It is the quietest fan in my rig while probably pushing more air. It under volts very well.

Cons: cord is not braided but that was expected.
