1 out of 5 eggsDon't Buy

Pros: None

Cons: After less than 6 months of light use this fan began to make noise every time I booted up. The noise would go away after a minute or so. It did this for a little bit until it just didn't turn on at all. I removed the fan and saw that the hub was cracked completely down the middle. It had been undamaged when installed and had to contact with anything.

2 out of 5 eggsArrg!

Pros: Relatively Quiet

Cons: Ordered 3 identical fans to better cool and quiet my case after upgrades. One of the three arrived DOA & cost me shipping to RMA. Now another one started making horrible bearing noises which I thought was a hard drive bearing, so I ordered new hard drives. Oh well, I can use them anyway. Turned out to be the Silenxn Fan, the 2nd out of three to die within about a month. I can't recommend this fan, and hope I can trade it for a different brand on return.

Other Thoughts: Did not seem to move an equivalent amount of air to older noisier fans.

1 out of 5 eggsFalse Advertisement

Pros: it comes with silicon anti-vibration screws

Cons: I had high hopes for a silent, 3 pin, LED 92mm fan but was hugely disappointed. It was far from quiet (always had a hum) it got even worse when it was mounted and even louder when you turn the rpm up, the LED's were very very weak, the fan cannot be used to touch anything from the front because it will touch the middle cone, it was waaay overpriced.

Other Thoughts: SilenX needs to apologize for such an awful product that they claim is "silent"

4 out of 5 eggsQuiet, but not tornadic

Pros: Very quiet.

Cons: Less airflow than the old noisy OEM fans I took out.

Also, one of the three fans was dead on arrival. The lights light up, and sometimes the fan blades twitch when plugged in, but even with prodding it will not spin. I spin it with my fingers, and it just stops again.

Other Thoughts: Wish they had a model without the LED lights.

2 out of 5 eggsNot worth it!

Pros: high air flow

Cons: I bought the green one and it's not even close to being silent. Makes a noticable hum I can hear as soon as I walk in the room. Not quite as loud as my stock heat sink fan, but it's pretty bad. I bought a couple cooler master fans, 2 for less than this fan, and they are much quiter than this piece.

Other Thoughts: They DB ratings need to be regulated better for fans

5 out of 5 eggsNice Blue LED, Silent, and No Vibration

Pros: This product is Excellent, and it is silent. I cannot hear it at all, because my hard drive and processor stock cooler overdoes the noise.

Cons: The cable is a tiny bit short, but that's not a big problem.

Other Thoughts: Excellent fan. I would recommend it to everybody who needs a silent fan. :)

5 out of 5 eggsLooks Cool while Cooling and it is quiet!

Pros: Matches the other blue led fans in my case from Thermaltake and keeps my 8800GTX cool with the Thermalright VGA cooler! This fan is quieter and pushes more air than original fan on the GTX cooler.

Cons: None
