1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: none

Cons: fan had a buzzing sound to it from the start, after running for a a few minute the entire fan blade section fell off and has really hot around the shaft and magnet. i instantly remove this fan from my comp and threw it away. it was hot enough that i would worry about it catching fire.

Other Thoughts: aside from the buxxing it was quiet, but did not move the amount of air claimed, about half. i reinstalled an EVERCOOL SFF-9 92mm Case Fan that ive had for yrs and is still runnin strong and quiet and moves about double the air this fan did. only wanted to new fan for the LED's. Bad choice on my part.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Although I have the Blue LED model the design is the exact same. I installed this as a side intake fan blowing toward my ATI HD 4870 1GB and Intel E6700 running at 3.33 GHz and lowered the operating temps 10° C in my Antec Super LanBoy case. CPU average temp. is 32° C while the GFX is 49° C.

They are super quiet at moving a lot of air.

Cons: The only drawback seems to be longevity, as I'm on my third one now. They seem to last about 12 months before the bearing starts making noise.

Other Thoughts: Since they aren't too expensive and newegg sometimes offers Free Shipping on them I'll continue using them as I haven't found a quieter 92mm that offers this much cfm.

5 out of 5 eggsSilent and cool

Pros: Silent, can not hear fan motor or the air it pushes. No whining, humming, etc. that I have found with other fans.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've had 3 of these in my cases for 3 years straight now. Still silent, still going strong.

2 out of 5 eggsEvan

Pros: It does move a lot of air

Cons: It didn't last very long at all, the bearings burnt up, and it quick turning

Other Thoughts: Well, i guess this product is a pretty big gamble, if you get one that last, then your set, but other wise, its not really worth it.

1 out of 5 eggsBad bearing design for larger size fans

Pros: Works great WHEN IT WORKS, moves alot of air & it is very quiet, but that won't last long with the larger sizes of silenX fans.

Cons: Poor bearing design for larger size fans (90 & up) Tried 2 different 92mm fans for my cpu & both died with heavy vibration & improper spin up to speed due to bearing problem Usage of less than a month

Other Thoughts: Works great on smaller sizes, I have 2 40mm fans cooling my ram & northbridge & 3 80mm case fans. those move air & are very quiet but the larger sizes of silenX fans don't last

3 out of 5 eggsNot as advertised!

Pros: It moves air and lights up a Little

Cons: Does Not Move 42 cfm period.
Is more like 30 db!!!!!!!!!
Not 14 db, this is a pure lie!
This was a ripoff purchase & I will return as defective or falsly advertised priduct.

Other Thoughts: If you want a low cfm low light fan that is about 30 db for
the highest price possibly, buy this!
