Good at First
- Pros: Seemed quiet enough at first. LED's are nice.
- Cons: Bought 3 of these fans. After a few weeks, one of them was making a clicking sound (No cables in the way). I RMA'd it. The second fan started making the exact same sound. I RMA'd it as well. The replacement has barely been in my computer for a month, and it sounds like it's bearings are totally gone, and is making a ton of racket
- Other Thoughts: Considering how expensive these fans are, I am very dissapointed in the quality of this product. I will be replacing all 3 of these fans with a brand I am more familiar with, like Scythe or Zalman.
6 months and poof
- Pros: quite, moves lot's of air, fairly good price, bright but not too bright
- Cons: flat out stopped
- Other Thoughts: I had this for just over 6 months. looked down and noticed fan had stopped. No warning signs, nothing, just stoped. Structure weaken's thru time and props rest on casing, causing it to stop. No noise indicating it was failing of any sort.
They break after about a year
- Pros: plug into motherboard. illusion of quality
- Cons: After about 6 months to a year the plastic used to make the fan blade splits apart from stress. I bought 3 of these about a year ago and now they've all quit. They cost too much to break like they do.
- Other Thoughts: They really weren't that much quieter than the antec tricools that came with my case. I think the db rating on these fans is way off. I wonder if putting a piece of duct tape over the center of the fan would extend its life. but yea. AVOID these fans.
