2 out of 5 eggsDidn't fit

Pros: - Looks awesome
- Copper build
- Comes w/ fan, spring push pin, and thermal paste

Cons: - Didn't fit
- Some fins came bent
- Sits too low
- Not enough clearance

Other Thoughts: Won't fit ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 nor GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 (rev. 6.0). Tried north and south bridges, transistors were in the way. Maybe if it was square at the bottom and high enough to clear several MB components, that'd be great.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks excellent

Pros: Dropped temps from over 80*c down to 48*c on my x58 Pro motherboard.

it adds a blue LED which is nice and bright

it isn't really that loud at 100% and is almost unnoticeable at 50% fanspeed.

Cons: Only REAL con: Included heatpaste is a joke

The Bar mount is really mounted in there, Can't be removed without cutting it off.

Push pin mounting isn't very solid feeling allows it to move a little, However it's more than sufficient to hold this cooler to the NB without it really moving enough to be a concern. If you move your PC around a lot, you may want to double check to make sure it's secure correctly.

Because it's short, and round, there are a few cases like mine where a little trim work was needed, I had to trim about 5 fins off the very bottom edge to clear a couple caps. No biggie, and no eggs taken off, I had figured this mod was needed when I ordered.

Other Thoughts: It cleared my massive NH-D14 CPU cooler but ONLY just by a hair. the blue is VERY blue, and VERY bright (brightest in my case currently)

5 out of 5 eggsOverall Satisfied

Pros: Fit on my north bridge and my south bridge chips on my EVGA 680i. Felt heavy, usually a good sign in heat dissipation.

Cons: Has been mentioned before, but the little clip that comes with it to secure the fan is of terrible design, and I didn't put any use to it. It seems unnecessary though, as the fan is snugly fit with the two screws it provides.

Other Thoughts: Blue LEDs.

5 out of 5 eggsDidnt fit

Pros: This thing is very beafy and had i been able to use it, I'm sure it would drop the temps, even without the fan.

Cons: Too big for my ITX mobos. I would try it on my ATX mobo, but my graphics card blocks the north bridge, so only the heat sink made for it fits it.

Other Thoughts: I have tried this heat sink on 3 ITX motherboards, and none of them had room for it. Make sure you have a LOT of room.

1 out of 5 eggsLooks good but is not universal (as it says)

Pros: Looks nice

Cons: Doesn't fit standard Gigabyte or Asus north bridges. This is actually just poor design, all they need to do is include adjustable connectors. The weight is too much for sekisui tape so eh, misleading advertising = me wasting my money.

Other Thoughts: Perhaps this was designed in 2005 or something?

4 out of 5 eggsCools, tricky to pin down

Pros: Significantly cooled the northbridge, which was running suspiciously hot with the OG fan from dell.

Cons: The spring-loaded clip took more than a little finessing to square up. The blue light on the fan is unnecessary.

Other Thoughts: The XPS I installed this in is going on 7 years now, so not sure how much longer this equipment will be needed.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Product

Pros: Fan is small but produces enough air flow to cool my Chip-set down to normal temp.

Cons: I did not use the coil due to terrible design.

4 out of 5 eggsGood cooler, even for CPU

Pros: Needed to cool an Atom 330 on an Intel D945GCLF2 (netbook CPU on desktop mobo). The stock aluminum HSF wasn't giving me comfortable temps in my Mini-ITX build, put this in and the temps dropped about 15 Celsius.

Cons: Only complaint is that the "angel wings" on the bottom (for using snap in screws) needed to be broken off in order to avoid bending a capacitor and nearly touching the ram (too close for my comfort).

Other Thoughts: Blue LED is cool.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good

Pros: Pretty safe for transport once installed. Comes with a sticky foam shim to ensure good contact.
Pretty good NB temperature reading even before my thermal compound (Arctic Silver Ceramique 2) set.

Cons: No proper baseplate. The construction of the base part is basically a bunch of fins which were very carefully bent to form the base/radiator assembly, and ground down very flat. This means two corners of my NB aren't perfectly covered with copper, and if your NB is bigger than mine... be careful. I suggest sticking some thermal compound on, sticking this thing on your NB, taking it off, and seeing where the imprint is. If the imprint goes into the gaps in coverage too deeply, you might not want to power your computer up with this installed.
Had to hack the install of this with a pair of nylon nuts/bolts. The 'universal' slots on the base assembly were very slightly too short for my NB to attach with the included hardware. With another 1/8" (and maybe some reinforcement ribbing), this really would be universal.

Other Thoughts: Blue LEDs go pretty well (aesthetically) with Geforce GTX lettering on nVidia's reference coolers.

5 out of 5 eggsSecond one as good as the first

Pros: Blue light. Fast fan. Copper. Easy install.
Keeps my NB cool on my Biostar TA970 and 970XE. They are known to have hot running NB's.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I will no sooner build a PC without this cooler than I would build one without Arctic Silver 5 (and yes, I did use AC5 on this heat sink!)
