3 out of 5 eggsQuiet and moves barely enough air.

This review is from: SilenX EFX-09-15 92mm Effizio Quiet Case Fan

Pros: It's very quiet.

Cons: It doesn't push enough air in my opinion, at least for me. I have 2 of them in my case and they don't push that much more air than my old stock fans.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a quiet fan this is definitely a great option but if you need to push a lot of air I really suggest looking at other products. It's not a bad product by any means it's just not made for hardcore gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsWhisper quiet operation.

This review is from: SilenX EFX-09-15 92mm Effizio Quiet Case Fan

Pros: * Very quiet * Provides good air flow * An affordable 92mm fan * Dual power connectors for motherboard or power supply hook up * Includes both screws and silcone rubber mounts * Includes detailed instructions for the novice * Choice of blade color * Three year warranty

Cons: So far nothing to note.

Other Thoughts: I have a full tower case and the original top cooling fan had failed. Since the tower sits right next to my chair I was concerned about getting a replacement fan that was quiet. I found that this fan with excellent reviews and I went ahead with the purchase. No complaints, this is a whisper quiet fan for sure.

5 out of 5 eggsHuge improvement over stock case fan.

This review is from: SilenX EFX-09-15 92mm Effizio Quiet Case Fan

Pros: Quiet
Affordable
Two different connectors
Rubber mounts.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: Got this to replace the stock fan in my APEX TX-381-C Case that was so loud I couldn't think clearly.

This fan is WAY WAY quieter. I'm cheap so when I say it's worth the 10 bucks or whatever it was, believe it. (it took me 5 years to upgrade though!) The rubber mounts worked fine with that case. And yes, in the description for that specific case it says it came with a 90mm fan but this 92mm fan fits perfectly... typo or insignificant technical difference, whatever, it works and it's quiet. If you're not Over-clocking and want a simple quiet case fan, this is it.

3 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

This review is from: SilenX EFX-09-15 92mm Effizio Quiet Case Fan

Pros: Super quiet.
Low profile.

Cons: Blows out less air than a case fan should.
Died at one year.

Other Thoughts: Buy another fan unless you want a very quiet fan with mediocre flow.

5 out of 5 eggsNice, quiet exhaust fan

This review is from: SilenX EFX-09-15 92mm Effizio Quiet Case Fan

Pros: Quietest cheap 92mm fan I've owned. No LEDs so the color isn't glaringly overwhelming.

Cons: This is a good exhaust fan, but I wouldn't use it as an intake fan. It seems to fling air outward to the sides as much as it blows air out directly. Which is fine when you want to exhaust air and don't care where it goes. But if you want to blow air into your case and onto a component, this is probably not the fan for you.

Other Thoughts: I'm cheap - I've never bought a high-end fan. So I can't compare this to such fans.

5 out of 5 eggsfantastic

This review is from: SilenX EFX-09-15 92mm Effizio Quiet Case Fan

Pros: This runs incredibly quietly on its own. Anyone saying it's loud is putting it through an badly cut fan grille in their case, which causes turbulance. It's basically silent.

Cons: I'm not sure about that CFM rating. It blasts pretty good but I've felt a lot of fans and this feels like it's in the 30-35 range. It still beats every other fan for the price level though, making it a perfect choice.

Other Thoughts: The color looks quite nice in most cases.

4 out of 5 eggsGood fan, but airflow?

This review is from: SilenX EFX-09-15 92mm Effizio Quiet Case Fan

Pros: This is as silent as the Scythe GentleTyphoon D0925C12B1AP-12 that it was to replace as the side fan for cooling my GTX 560 Ti graphics card. And it has as good an airflow, since they both keep the card at 65C in a 68F room.

Cons: The only problem is that I bought it to keep the graphics card a little cooler, for the summer months. It is rated at 42 CFM, whereas the GentleTyphoon is rated at 44 m³/h, which is 26 CFM. So either the GentleTyphoon cools beyond its rated value, or the SilenX cools less than its rated value. From the other comments here, I think it is the latter. It is still a very good fan that will be useful for various purposes, and I will use it as a rear case fan, but don't plan on any miracles.

Other Thoughts: I run my GTX 560 Ti in a dedicated PC running Folding@home 24/7, so I have a good idea of what the temps should be. I also tried an Arctic F9, which is also a very nice fan, but the mesh on my case set up some sort of resonance with the fan blades, and it was too noisy, though it was quite by itself. So I can't win in this game without a better case with a 120 mm side fan. (I am going to get a second NZXT Tempest 210 CA-TP210-01, which is a great case.)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fans!

This review is from: SilenX EFX-09-15 92mm Effizio Quiet Case Fan

Pros: Very quiet fans, even tolerable when running at 100%

Cons: Wish the cords were braided.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you arrange your fans in the correct push/pull positions, otherwise they'll be a lot louder. Mine are installed in the Fractal Design Core 1000 mATX tower with the front fan pulling and the rear fan exhausting.
