5 out of 5 eggsReplaced Xbox 360 PSU Fan

Pros: Easy piece of hardware to use, and gets enough airflow to keep my power supply from overheating.
Relatively quiet with where I'm using it

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Non standard use application.
The internal fan for my Xbox 360 power supply stopped working and the powerbrick was regularly overheating. I removed the internal fan and spliced this one onto the 5V power connector. I mounted it external to the PSU and had to drill some airholes. But it's working well and I can't hear it over the xbox fans. It's been doing a good job of keeping everything cool for almost three years now. Saved a lot of money vs buying a new power supply so I'm happy with it.

1 out of 5 eggsWorthless

Pros: Quiet.

Cons: Moves such a small amount of air that it's difficult to figure out which side is the exhaust.

1 out of 5 eggs300 RPM

Pros: very quiet,
it makes the same amount of noise as when it's not powered
and moves about the same qty of air as when it's not powered

Cons: I bought two, and they both spin at about 5 turns per seconds, thats 300 RPM
Like other said, this fan stirs a little air, but doesn't do anything useful

Other Thoughts: I also bought
ENERMAX|UC-12EB RTL
PROLIMATECH| PRO-BV14 R
and they are both really good

2 out of 5 eggsKinda Blows

Pros: VERY quiet. Comes with 4 pin power supply adapter in case your main board lacks a 3 pin connector. Uses hardly any power.

Cons: Since I'm not a fan specialist, I really didn't know how much air it really pushes until I got it. Well, if I knew, I wouldn't have bought it. Basically, it just stirs the air, nothing with much force. Like a ceiling fan in the Super Dome. Didn't cut it for my application. Going to try another fan.

Other Thoughts: If you need something just to move air around in a tight spot, this may work just fine.

2 out of 5 eggsThis blows! Oh wait, no it doesn't.

Pros: It's-- um... it spins? Kind of?

Cons: Spins super slow at maximum power input.

4 out of 5 eggsOk DC7900 CPU Fan Replacement

Pros: I am starting to order from Refurbished HP DC7900 USFF systems to sell to my customers. ( After replacing the stock HDD with an SSD of course).

The one I have been using for testing started making an annoying noise. It was coming from the CPU fan as it was starting to wear out. My wife couldn't hear anything but it bothered me a lot.

The stock fan has a four pin connector and this has three, so using my box knife I removed one of the plastic keys and slid it into place.

Much quieter than the stock fan, and weighs less as well. I am very happy with the lack of noise!

Cons: The trade off was the amount of air it pushed. This does not do move enough air on its own requiring me to keep the other stock exhaust fan. Will keep that in mind if I need to replace the exhaust fans in the future.

Other Thoughts: This was not made to cool a Core 2 Duo at 3GHZ, that being said it holds its own and I think as long as the CPU is not pushed too hard it will work.

5 out of 5 eggsStill Going Strong

Pros: Needed something small to cool the northbridge on an AMD 880GM board in a Silverstone ML03B case. Wired to a three-pin splitter shared with one of three 80mm case fans. Quiet as a mouse.

Cons: More than two years of service, and with a regular cleaning, it is still silent and reliable.

Other Thoughts: I'd recommend this fan to anybody looking for decent airflow in tight quarters.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet deal

Pros: Awesome little fans got two of them to draw hot air out, as i have a 120 mm fan pulling cool air in. They do the job great 11 cfms of air is awesome air movment for these little things. totally silent cant hear them at all and look pretty stealthy. Def gonna buy more if i need some 60 mm fans for the price you cant beat them!!! Plus they even come with black screws not crome ones !!

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsQuality Fans

Pros: Good build quality. Able to connect via fan connector or 4-pin molex. Comes with screws and 4-pin adapters.

Cons: Extremely loud if hooked up to a 4-pin molex connector, but that's to be expected.

Other Thoughts: Great exhaust fan replacements for my Thermaltake LanBox.
