APEVIA CF7015S 70mm Case Fan

Pros: When I ordered these fans I looked long and hard for 70mm <2000rpm fans that seemed high quality. These did fit the bill and, when installed, did function quietly and properly.

Cons: After exactly one year both of the fans died at the same time, silently without warning. I believe it was a cascading failure of one fan that led the other do die quickly thereafter. smartctl sent me an email telling the that my disk array was >190C! I had to use gloves to remove the drives from their bays :/

Other Thoughts: Next time I'm going with a more trusted brand.

Pros: They fit the case I have them installed within.

Cons: Three of the five fans i ordered failed and became so noisy that they had to be replaced. Waiting on the others to die now.

Pros: It was inexpensive and quiet.

Cons: Died after two months of operation.

Other Thoughts: Never been one to stray from trusted brands and this just makes me kick my own rump for doing so.

Pros: These fans work as advertized and are very quiet. I can't here five of them over my CPU fan.

Cons: Had to use a spacer when using them as intake fans.

Other Thoughts: I have five of these in a PC-C37U case and they ork very well. They are quiet and not not notisable with the CPU fan running.
