Pros: overclocking @3.86ghz and only 44C under full load.

cpu :5200

Cons: i bought the backplate mounting on it which is necessary imo. b/c the one came with the box would flex the motherboard.

Pros: Bought this for the Xigmatek S1283 cooler for use on an LGA 775 setup. A must have for installation in my mind. I've NEVER liked those push pin setups.

Cons: Directions could have been better but after looking very closely at the pictures things worked out just fine.

Addition to HDT-S1283

Pros: A brace for the back of the motherboard to make the installation of the HDT-S1283 more secure. Used electrical tape to hold it to the back of the motherboard while installing the cpu cooler. Installing two screws without the springs first; followed by two screws with the springs; removing the the 2 screws without the springs and reinstalling with springs.

Cons: None really

Other Thoughts: This brace should be included with every new HDT-S1283. I did install one HDT-S1283 cooler without this brace and I have had no problems even after moving the computer from the basement to and upstairs room and back again.
