The new Xigmatek XLF Series of 140mm system fans continues the company's innovative design focus to provide advanced features and performance while maintaining excellent value to the end user. XLF Series is created with attention and detail, and not only does it look prestige from every angle it is manufactured with impeccable performance.

The XLF Series fan comes standard with 4 white LEDs insuring your case fan to be the center of attraction.

The XLF features a high quality "Fluid Circulative Bearing" which is tested to increase its lifespan by 50%. The Fluid Circulative Bearing uses a remarkable re-circulative fluid method which enables the bearing to rotate at a high and stable revs, reaching rotations up to 2200 RPM. Unlike average bearings on the market, FCB will cancel out 98.9% friction which means in practical everyday usage this ultimately produces a near silent atmosphere (<25 dBA).

1 out of 5 eggsWorthless piece of junk

Pros: Cheap, got both fans for ~$12 after rebate.

Cons: Got these to replace my stock Antec fans b/c I can undervolt them with my fan controller. 6 months into use, one fan started to have loud rattle sound even at 700 RPM range; a year and half later, the other one starts to have buzzing sound at any RPM range. Xigmatek claims the fan has fluid circulative bearing, I don't believe them. I know this isn't Noctua quality, but even my cheapest Coolermaster, NZXT, and Antec fans last longer than 2 years at least. Just avoid this fan, spend money somewhere else if you want a cheap fan (NZXT).

4 out of 5 eggsOk fan

Pros: Moves an okay amount of air with not much noise. White LEDs look very nice.

Cons: Lasted less than 1 year (about 11 months) before it started making a subtle but noticeable clicking noise.

Other Thoughts: Looked nice while it lasted. Even with the noise it makes it still performs well, just annoying in a quiet room.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: This case is huge and very well built. I did extensive research before deciding to get this case, and it did not dissapoint me.

Cons: I am taking one egg off due to Xigmatek's customer service. The item arrived with a crack in the window, which is not a huge deal since I plan on replacing it with a larger one anyway. However, I contacted Xigmatek asking them if it was possible to buy a replacement window for the time being over a week ago and never got a response.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat fan

Pros: is a very large, quiet fan, moves decent air.

the blades are mirrored, and the LED's shoot down them, giving a swirl

Cons: I didn't get my rebate either, but doesn't make it less of an awesome fan.

I think i paid 16 each on 4 of them

Other Thoughts: I have them in a fractal designs R4. my CPU fan died over a year ago, and my GPU fans have both failed as well, I still have low temps

2 out of 5 eggsbig fan .. big sound

Pros: Bought this as an inexpensive front case fan. It's large and moves air quite well enough. Simple to install. Blade and air direction clearly marked on outer case. LEDs are not bright or annoying.

Cons: Makes a horrid high pitched whining noise. Certainly louder than 16 dBA claimed on package. And the terrible tone puts that loud noise over the top into annoying category.

Other Thoughts: Sent it back for refund. Will look for something better.

5 out of 5 eggsRebate Arrived

Pros: It works

Cons: None: See Other Thoughts

Other Thoughts: As stated below, if you have a copy of your rebate submission the person to contact is Nicole at She will work with you to get your rebate. I resubmitted mine via email, but it did take about 6 weeks to receive the check. The company writes their rebates check once a month.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good for $13

Pros: I have a Corsair C70 case with two of these mounted to the clear window. At full speed, these are about as quiet as my Noctua fans and move a decent amount of air. I had the 120mm version of these fans mounted to my window before and these are many times quieter than them. The LED's look good, and they aren't ridiculously bright.

Cons: Not free, and the wires could be covered with something to look nicer.
