The new Xigmatek CLF Crystal Series of 140mm system fans continues the company's innovative design focus to provide advanced features and performance while maintaining excellent value to the end user. CLF Series is created with attention and detail, and not only does it look prestige from every angle it is manufactured with impeccable performance.

The CLF Series fan comes standard with quad LEDs incorporated with transparent frame and blades insuring your case fan to be the center of attraction.

The CLF features a high quality "Fluid Circulative Bearing" which is tested to increase its lifespan by 50%. The Fluid Circulative Bearing uses a remarkable re-circulative fluid method which enables the bearing to rotate at a high and stable revs, reaching rotations up to 1500 RPM. Unlike average bearings on the market, FCB will cancel out 98.9% friction which means in practical everyday usage this ultimately produces a near silent atmosphere (<20 dBA).

2 out of 5 eggsAnnoying buzz

Pros: Blue LED

Cons: Annoying buzz. Added a fan controller to reduce the speed and still hear the buzz, albeit not as noticeable, at lowest speed. Just gets worse at higher fan controller settings.

Other Thoughts: Using a pair of these as the top exhaust fans on a Corsair Air540 case.

4 out of 5 eggsXIGMATEK FCB

Pros: Very quiet fan with a respectable amount of air flow. Led not to bright and have a nice color.

Cons: Don't think they are 16 dbl, not a lot louder but not 16 either.

Other Thoughts: Not the most powerful fans out there, but for the decible level they move a good amount of air.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good fan

Pros: Very quiet fan, becoming a believer in FCB technology. Absolutely 0 vibration on top of tower case its mounted on, no noise and the temp inside my mid tower has dropped 75c on gpu down to 67c. Used to be a antec fan(lol), but now pretty much sold on Xigmatek FCB.

Cons: Molex adapters kind of cheap and just bought better quality molex adaptors at local pc shop.
Still an excellent fan

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quality quiet motor and bearing, though when i bought it it wasn't called an FCB. Bought it to replace my power supply fan which had a noisy ball-bearing fan (even at low speeds). Run this at a steady and truly silent ~500 rpm (50% off of the motherboard controller) and is truly silent. At this speed it wouldnt cool the power-supply enough under load so I flipped both the power supply and the fan so it vents up in to the system (yes I know it sounds bad :P) so it's going with the way the heat wants to naturally convect and it cools adequately. So I have a quadcore 3ghz 100watt cpu with giant Scythe Ninja3 heatsink (wonder why newegg discontinued Scythe products which are quite good), 150watt gpu, and PSU all venting out the top and it stays within temp limits under full load all dead silent. Total power drain ~330 watts. nice.

Cons: Bought this hoping to get a rebate available at the time. WAsted my time filling out and sending it in on time. Dont trust Xigma for rebates!!
A bit pricey for a fan. Considered taking off an 0 for that : o

5 out of 5 eggsThese Fans Don't Blow!

Pros: I have two of these serving as exhausts on the top of my system and three 120mm fans of the same series as intakes and my system stays super cool even when operating under heavy load.

Even with all those fans running, my system is very quiet and I really don't notice the sound unless I am really paying attention to it.

Quality is good and the braided cables are a nice touch, so many makers leave just the ugly bare showing.

Cons: Didn't increase my frame rate to over 9000!. XD

Other Thoughts: Buy, install, cool off your hot bits!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Fan!!

Pros: High volume of air. Very quiet. The perfect shade of blue on the LED lighting. Long lasting (1st one I installed horizontally almost 2 years ago is still running strong!(..

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: These are high-quality fans, and run a long time either horizontally or vertically. The FCB in here doesn't seem to care. I've so far got 3 running in diggerent computers. One is in a side window, another as intake in front of 6 Hard drives (and the static pressure is good enough to push through them), and another as a bottom intake fan. I've bought 3 extras just in case or for new builds.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: Looks good. Works. Comes with power adapter and hardware. Good price. Not loud.

Cons: Connected to a speed controller, my stock Fractal R4 case fans move noticeably more air on every setting.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks cool... blue LEDs... inexpensive

Cons: Fan "surged" from day 1, creating an annoying resonance/buzzing/vibration in my case. Replaced with Corsair AF140's which are fantastic.

4 out of 5 eggsgood fan but question...

Pros: nice looking, solid built with corner flanges joined...

Cons: i have same fans but in 120mm as exhausts in my haf 912..they are fully controllable whereas the 140mm is not.. had gotten it as side intake, but added too much noise without being able to slow it down a bit

Other Thoughts: also bought the same in 200mm as front intake and it isn't controllable either.. Xigmatek-- why 120mm can be controlled, but same series 140mm and 200mm cannot be?

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fans

Pros: I have four xigmatek crystal series fans running in my HAF932, (2)-120mm push/pull, 120mm at the bottom of the case and this 140mm for the rear exhaust. These fans are super nice quality and move tons of air. The 3 Xigmatek 120mm fans have been running in my system for at least 2 years w/out any problems. I have all of them running at full speed and they are honestly pretty quiet. If you want some clean looking LED fans in your case then the Xigmatek Crystal series are the way to go especially w/ a windowed case.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: Newegg lists the 140mm fan as 60.5 CFM but on the back of the box they are listed as 63.5 CFM.
