The new Xigmatek CLF Crystal Series of 140mm system fans continues the company's innovative design focus to provide advanced features and performance while maintaining excellent value to the end user. CLF Series is created with attention and detail, and not only does it look prestige from every angle it is manufactured with impeccable performance.

The CLF Series fan comes standard with quad LEDs incorporated with transparent frame and blades insuring your case fan to be the center of attraction.

The CLF features a high quality "Fluid Circulative Bearing" which is tested to increase its lifespan by 50%. The Fluid Circulative Bearing uses a remarkable re-circulative fluid method which enables the bearing to rotate at a high and stable revs, reaching rotations up to 1500 RPM. Unlike average bearings on the market, FCB will cancel out 98.9% friction which means in practical everyday usage this ultimately produces a near silent atmosphere (<20 dBA).

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet, cool, and attractive

Pros: It's quiet, and moves enough air to do the job any good fan should. It looks really cool. It's LED's are not too bright, and looks like the coals of a dying camp fire on a dark night.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't place it in direct view, but behind an air filter, or buried in the top or bottom of your case, it looks hellishly like cold fire.

5 out of 5 eggsI'm getting another.

Pros: Great color, airflow, specs.

Cons: Installation?

Other Thoughts: Make sure you determine the direction of airflow, mine was mismarked or misread :D And installing and reinstalling is a pain.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice red color, quiet, sleeved cable.

Cons: As with most fans, the screw holes aren't tapped. I tried using some screws I had already in this because they were black but couldn't screw them in without tapping the hole. However, the included screws are very high quality and will screw right in no problems.

Other Thoughts: Not much to say. It's a clear 140mm fan with red LEDs. If that's what you are looking for, this is for you.

3 out of 5 eggsDoes what it should and glows well! Just have a drill of some sort...

Pros: Works completely fine, and it GLOWS. The LED's are very nice, lights up my whole system!

Cons: I had a problem with screwing it in...
The holes were fresh and not pre-drilled which threw me off. I attempted to hand screw them in, but ended up getting out the power drill. Other than that everything works and stays cool!

Other Thoughts: My system components never reach above 40-50C, this thing really draws air!

5 out of 5 eggsMoves air, feels sturdy, looks good

Pros: It moves a decent amount of air and is pretty quiet. The blades seem well-balanced and the bearings are smooth. I have 3 of these in my machine (2 exhaust and 1 intake) and it's not noisy at all. Moves a good volume of air too, enough to keep a moderate negative pressure inside the case at the 2:1 ratio.

The red LEDs are subtle and not too bright. They're also actually red, not orange/red or yellow/red -- a rich, deep red that is effective without being distracting.

Build quality is pretty good for clear plastic -- they don't feel like they're going to shatter if you torque down the screws or drop it on the floor.

Cons: A little difficult to get the screws tapped in the first time. I recommend pre-tapping the screws prior to installing them in a case.

Other Thoughts: I just bought two more for my older build.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks, looks nice

Pros: These Xigmatek Crystal Series fans are always great for the price. They move a fair amount of air and are good ventilation fans because of their moderate flow rate. The red color is great; it's not washed out (pink), but a very vibrant red that looks great with my NZXT Hades case.

Cons: Screws that come with the fans are cheap and are easily damaged when tightening them down. (Somebody messed up the heat treatment, methinks.)

Other Thoughts: Overall, these are great, good-looking case fans that I can easily give a whole 5 eggs.
