The new Xigmatek XLF Series of 200mm system fans continues the company's innovative design focus to provide advanced features and performance while maintaining excellent value to the end user. XLF Series is created with attention and detail, and not only does it look prestige from every angle it is manufactured with impeccable performance.

The XLF Series fan comes standard with 4 white LEDs insuring your case fan to be the center of attraction.

The XLF features a high quality "Fluid Circulative Bearing" which is tested to increase its lifespan by 50%. The Fluid Circulative Bearing uses a remarkable re-circulative fluid method which enables the bearing to rotate at a high and stable revs, reaching rotations up to 2200 RPM. Unlike average bearings on the market, FCB will cancel out 98.9% friction which means in practical everyday usage this ultimately produces a near silent atmosphere (<25 dBA).

5 out of 5 eggsAll you need and beauty

Pros: The 200 x 200 x 20mm allows it to fit in some of the tighter places. I found it very good looking and a great investment in cooling.

I own two of these 200mm fans. They're perfect so far with pretty much very thing you need for cool and silence running. Maybe a on/off switch for the LED's for the lighting impaired or challenged but that adds cost.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The (FCB) Fluid Circulative Bearings are not described that way on the packaging, just 'Sleeve Bearings' and 'Longer life bearing design' but adds up to 30K of life (and one year), warranty.

At 24/7 that's 8,760 hours yearly. So 30K hrs equals 3.42 years at that 24/7; so the one year will come and go first.

I also own several of their smaller 140mm fans but they use the same bearings and warranty length. These were top of the case mounted and one fan quit working at 2 1/2yrs the other is still running after more than 3 years.

The other thought on these 200mm fans is that they need 9volts to start spinning. My new Cooler Master Silent Pro Hybrid 1050W has dual 7v fan connectors and guess what: the fan will not start. A little live chat with Cooler Master confirmed this but they suggested a better hookup for the bigger fans would be straight to their front panel controller.

I would have to agree and the twin 200's (top & side mount) works great from there.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fantastic product, Looks amazing and even after 1 year of owning it. It hasn't quit once and is still moving the air at an eye pleasing rate. Would recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful fan to move some air.

Cons: I didn't buy more when i bought this one!

1 out of 5 eggsNot a trustworthy company

Pros: nice color - spins smooth

Cons: The Xigmatek company is a piece of crud. I ordered two of their products and neither product had it's REBATE fulfilled. Trying to contact them via their website gave an error after filling out lots of feilds. Calling their phone number did not connect. This is the case for many others. Newegg said "they were backed up." A year later and they haven't came through with the rebate.

Other Thoughts: Newegg should stop selling products from such scummy companies.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy!

Pros: It worked.

Cons: Louder than my stock Antec 902 exhaust case fan.
I replaced this with another less expensive fan which is more quiet and pushes more air than this fan.

Other Thoughts: Don't expect a rebate from xigmatek. I never received my rebate even after muliple emails like lots of other people.

1 out of 5 eggsBeware of rebates

Pros: Works.

Cons: Never received rebate.
Only mount as exhaust fan.
LEDs are white.

Other Thoughts: Bought this fan 5 months ago because of the rebate deal. Got the fan and found that it can only be mounted as exhaust; ok, no big deal, still a free fan. 5 months later still haven't received my rebate. I will be avoiding any xigmatek rebates from now on.

1 out of 5 eggsFragile Blades

Pros: It looks alright. Very light, if that is what you are looking for. But that could be a problem (see con below)

Cons: Very poor built. The blades are so much thinner than the blades of the Cooler Master 20 in fan. I bought this fan for back up in case the Cooler Master fan goes out. But in construction, the Xigmatek fan is much poorer than that of the Cooler, which costs about the same. And Xigmatek delivers less air volume too. The only reason I bought this fan was because of the rebate.

Other Thoughts: I sent in the rebate more than 4 months ago. Called them twice a month ago, and email them as well. No response. At this point, I don't expect the rebate to come through despite I submitted and copied all the information. Well for the the money that I paid for the Xigmatek, I could have bought the Cooler Master fan and be much happier with the product. So beware, if you think the rebate will go through and get a good deal.

5 out of 5 eggsThe life of my computer!

Pros: Tons of air moved, yet smoothly quiet fan. Not like in the 90's!
Aesthetics grew on me the instant it turned on.
Thinner (200x200x20mm) than most 200mm fans, so it fits perfectly on the top of my Thermaltake Dokker case!

Cons: *Screw holes aren't threaded, so you have to put a lot of force to your screwdriver to help the screws cut into the plastic of the fan. There isn't a sturdy place on the fan to hold it up to the mounting holes either. I ended up stripping one of the screws bald halfway in, but the other three are in tight and I hear zero vibration.
*Zigmatek sticker that faces out of the case is a lot uglier than the one pointing in, why not prettify the one I'll see through the fan grills?

Other Thoughts: This is designed as an exhaust fan... Which, given the size, would probably be only mountable on the top panel of a case, and thus (by the physical law of "heat rises") really only SHOULD be used as an exhaust for optimum airflow.
It's brighter than the blue fan that came with the case, but, since it didn't come on till my computer was in working order, I am attached to it. White and blue matches perfectly with what's going on inside the case too (Gigabyte board, HyperBlu ram, even my OWC SSD is mostly blue with some white on the label), I can't imagine what people are complaining about unless it's too bright for them. Color the LEDs yourself if it bothers you...

Pros: I like the blue led. It match my other fans in my case.

Cons: The fan is some what flimsy. The worst part is the rebate has been sent out since mid november 2011 and there is no response from XIGMATEK, even after my email. Now it is more than 12 to 14 weeks. I will file complaint with my state and BBB. I keep copies all the paper work that sent to them. And they can't claim that the mail is lost, because they wouldn't event return my email nor my phone call (answer machine). A business should not exist to cheat on its customer.
By the way I have bought over 30 products with rebate from NEWEGG and other websites. I keep a file for all of them and never have had a problem with any manufactures before. I will never buy any thing from this unreliable company again.

4 out of 5 eggsgood fan minus white LED!

Pros: No excessive noise
I like the design of the blades and dark blue color
Fits just perfectly = Quite literally about 1mm clearance between the fan and Xigmatek CPU heatsink heatpipe tips. 20mm depth is a winner!

Cons: I personally don't care for the white LEDs on a blue colored fan. White is a rarity as it is when it comes to case modding. Clashes with the massively available blue CCFL's.
Also had to finish drilling the partially pre-drilled mounting points in order to secure it to my side panel.

Other Thoughts: NZXT Phantom case
XIGMATEK Gaia SD1283 CPU cooler
EVGA x58 Triple SLi
