3 out of 5 eggsInstallation issues

Pros: Its low profile, quiet, and decent temperatures.

Cons: I'm using this on a ECS A78LM-M2 AM3 mATX motherboard and it does not have a back plate. So with only the things included in the CPU cooler it was impossible to install. I had to go out and buy 3/4" screws with nuts and installed the cooler that way. I would have liked to see hardware ( 4 scews and nuts) included in this cooler so I can install this in a AM3 board with no back plate. The included screws are for the AM3 but only fit a back plate and the nuts are for the Intel CPU's.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for my Gigabyte Z77N cooler master elite 120 build

Pros: Runs better then stock fan, looks nice and isn't too expensive.. The Gemini M4 didn't fit, ran over the PCI slot, lame

Cons: none so far

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Low profile
includes fan
sleeved 3pin fan wire
unit is still incredibly low profile when mounted, just 1/4 inch higher than my ram, and it does not interfere with the ram chipset at all.
looks GREAT mounted to EVGA z68
Evga E-leet controls have no problem with pwm fan, didnt even waste time with stock heat stink .... this plus Artic Silver Mx-2

Cons: none at all.

Other Thoughts: i was initially worried about this mounting sloppy and potentially crashing into my video card, but once i opened the package and mounted it its incredibly sturdy. the mounting brackets are very very easy to set up and install. the unit is SILENT. ive seen some complaints of the fan being loud and i must say my particular unit does not have any issue at all.

4 out of 5 eggsNot for pushpin am3/fm1 motherboards

Pros: small full fledged cooler.
30mm without the fan, 45mm with
fan can be removed for smaller profile cases.

Cons: does not work with boards that use pushpins and do not have a screw hole built into the board

unless you have lots of spare heatsink parts you may not be able to install it.

Can only install 1 way.

Other Thoughts: The way the bracket is made is also a problem as it will not fit all boards period, screwholes or not. Due to its shape it will either fit or not.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor Quality

Pros: Price, low profile

Cons: I was going to use this on a new build of mine. I put it on and when I took it off to see how well it fit I found the thermal grease only made contact with 50% of the two outer edges and almost no contact (less than 20%) with the heat pipes!!!

Other Thoughts: Wish I could return it and get my money back but I'm a couple of days beyond the 30 day return period...

3 out of 5 eggsHmm...

Pros: Keeps it cool

Cons: I should have paid heed to the review about the whiny noise, very noticeable compared to the rest of my system even when it is not loud.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very low profile and fairly light. Good looking. Mounting system is solid, but care is needed to insure that the sink doesn't get slid around on the CPU during installation.

Cons: Fan is a bit on the whiny side at full speed. Definitely want to run a fan control utility or set up fan speeds in the BIOS for a quiet idle. It's a thin fan, so a bit of whine is to be expected. An 'open air' case like the SUGO makes fan noises quite noticeable.

The installation booklet is shipped wedged between the fan and the radiator. Don't overlook that and forget about it until after it is installed. :/

Other Thoughts: In a Silverstone SUGO SG02 case, it cleared the full size PS by a couple of inches. Idle temps on a 2500k run about 33C. 50% load on 4 cores had temps at around 50-52C per core with the fan running at 90% (pre burn-in w/ Arctic Silver AA compound)

3 out of 5 eggsDoes the job, I guess

Pros: Seems to at least be a well constructed piece of equipment

Cons: Two things:

- I ordered this product to replace my stock i7 2600 fan, but there's been little to no difference in CPU temperature after replacing the stock fan with this item.

- I actually had to unmount my motherboard all unconnect/reconnect everything to it when installing this fan because the nuts that go on the screws have to be installed. These nuts require a great deal of turning to get on, and the screws go through the top of the mothereboard, out through the bottom. Therefore, no way to install the fan without removing the motherboard. Quite a pain.

Other Thoughts: Works so far, may not have met my expectations but it's not a bad product
