4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: -Very good noise to performance ratio; noise levels are quieter than my current fans and airflow has been increased resulting in a few deg C drop in average case temperatures

Cons: -Would be nice if they included rubber mounts. However, 4 sets of case screws are included

Other Thoughts: Not much to say about these fans except that they are priced right and offer a good noise/performance compromise (both noise and performance being better than the fans my case came with). This is a great go-to option if you have need for multiple fans at once and don't need anything extremely fancy.

4 out of 5 eggsAbout as Quiet as Any Other Good Fan

Pros: Reasonable airflow and sound level when system is idling or cruising.

Audibly loud when when system is working hard and fan speeds up to anywhere near full speed.

Cons: Not really any quieter than other good fans in similar price range.

Other Thoughts: Have used 7 or 8 different brands and models of 120mm case fans over the last few years to discover which is best for a home theater pc which is also a gaming pc (obviously conflicting goals, in a way). All of them which have a 3-pin connector to attach to a system fan or case fan header on the motherboard will run at about 700-750 rpm (half of their maximum speed) most of the time. They are audible but not noisy - mostly generating a soft whoosh of air sound. When the cpu begins to work harder and temperatures rise, the motherboard increases voltage to the case fans and they speed up, eventually becoming quite loud. The only exceptions i've found are fans by Noctua and Arctic Cool (or Arctic Cooling?) which cost considerably more and are less audible. However, the only SILENT fan is no fan at all.

My system includes a hot-running Core i7 extreme edition cpu, 6 x 2GB RAM, 3 x HDD, 2 x SSD, 1 x DVD, ASUS GTX 760 graphics card, and Corsair 750-watt psu. After considerable experimentation, i wound up using a Noctua C-14 limited to 900rpm cpu cooler plus one Xigmatek 120mm as intake fan and one Xigmatek 120mm as rear exhaust fan. Additional front and side and top fans added more noise but only improved cooling by 1 to 2 deg. an Antec 200 case with front mesh panel. The fact that this minimal number of fans is sufficient is a compliment to the performance of the Xigmatek 120mm fans.

5 out of 5 eggsCool and Quiet

Pros: Purchased at a great price and work as described. Added this a new build and could barely hear this fan and could feel the fan moving sufficient amount of air.

Cons: None at this time.

4 out of 5 eggsPerfect replacement fans

Pros: 3 Pin connector is nice for connecting to the motherboard for speed control options. Sturdy plastic construction with a long enough cable to be fed back through my wire guides in my server chassis.

Cons: Slightly more power usage .20 Amps compared to my old fans that were .14 Amps. Not a big deal unless your super penny pinching on a system that runs 24/7.

Other Thoughts: This was purchased to replace the two front fans in my Rosewill server chassis. They were a perfect fit and the 3 pin connecotr on these replaced the power plug connector that came with the chassis fan setup. This has made it easier to control temps and throttle the fans.

5 out of 5 eggsNice and Quiet

Pros: They are quiet and push a decent amount of air. I have them set up in a media center cabinet hooked up to a 7.5 power supply to keep the game systems running cool.

I ran them in my spare computer for a while before the media cabinet and I really liked them. if they go on sale again I will pick up more and replace the fans in my computer cases with them.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: good fans for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsGlad I bought 'em while Newegg had them (on sale, too!)

Pros: -Super quiet
-Very efficient
-I can hear my HDD and CPU fan over the other fans. When running a fan individually it's very quiet.
-The amount of air gushing out of my tower is far more than I expected for what I spent at its noise level
-Still running silent after about 7 months
-Inexpensive: more like very reasonably priced
-High quality for the price; I paid $5 on sale

Cons: -Not in stock anymore

Other Thoughts: I love these fans and I do feel bad for those who didn't get the chance to buy a pair, let alone I still feel bad for those like my who were going to buy more.

2 out of 5 eggsYou get et what you pay for...

Pros: Cheap. Maybe a good back-stock replacement to have on hand to use while you pick out and order a real fan. Better than no fan at all.

Cons: Installed 3 of these, one to replace a stock Corsair and 2 as additional airflow. One started rattling and buzzing in less than a month. Removed them all.

Other Thoughts: Don't use these in work you are doing on other people's machines, no matter how cheap the customer is. Maybe get the four pack intending to use 2 and keep the other two for replacements.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than the alternative.

Pros: * Not a sleeve bearing like the CM 4pack.
* Higher airflow than the CM 4pack fans.
* Low noise.
* Good quality, for the price.
* Price (I pay ~$15 per pack = less than $4 per fan)
* Included screws are black.

Cons: * No power adapters included.

Other Thoughts: These are my go-to 120mm fans.
Much better airflow, quality, and longevity than the CM alternative.
Of the 20+ I have purchased, not a single fan has died, rattled, grinded, or slowed-down.
