4 out of 5 eggsFalls short of "Amazing"

Pros: This fan was a direct bolt on replacement for my XCLIO A380BK Full tower (front). The previous fan died on me. I really liked the extra hardware that came with this fan because I did lose some of the long bolts for the side mount on this case when I was moding mine. The different light settings are nice and the pci slot controller for the lights/fanspeed is well built.

Cons: Not too happy with the Speed min/max on this. 500-800 RPM +/- 10% is what is advertised. I'd like to see a little more. It moves air, but not excessive amounts. Price is the second reason which lead to the 4 egg rating. There are not many 25cm fan replacements for these XCLIO cases. Unfortunately , these XCLIO's seem to have cheap 25cm fans in them, which leads to a purchase of one of these "Amazing" fans.

Other Thoughts: Bottom line, if you have an XCLIO case with a broken fan, and you're worried about the airflow leading to high hardware temperatures, this is a great replacement.

2 out of 5 eggsHmmm...

Pros: Keeps the system cool and the lights are pruudy (huurr).... until...

Cons: I bought 2 for my xClio bk380. After a few months one of them loses it's blue.... for the price I'd expect a little more of a lifespan. :-(

Other Thoughts: Again, for the price, I'd expect some better quality.

5 out of 5 eggsA ....... OK

Pros: Direct replacement for my A380 XClio case. I replaced the front and side case fans which were screaming and worn out. Fit perfect. Nice and quite. The front fan was a little tricky. You need to pull your DVD drives and Floppy drive out to get the front panel out. Just time consuming mainly.

Cons: The connectors were slightly different, but I was able to get them to work. I am not a fan of the light show and was able to turn the light show off by not connecting that connector.

No real Cons.. These fans come complete with speed control and light show controller which I did not use.

Other Thoughts: Overall I am pleased with the new fans and can still adjust their speeds with the A380 controller. Newegg again delivered on time and gave me exeactly what I had ordered.. Thanx

4 out of 5 eggsFans that spin...

Pros: My case now tells the world... I have no life but a pretty case :-)

Cons: Installation was pretty annoying. 1 egg off due to pitiful shipping time and the price being a little too high for the cheapness of the feel.

Other Thoughts: My case is also by Xclio. :-) Whenever I get my new camera, I'll post a video of the results.

3 out of 5 eggsGood features but delicate

Pros: The concept of the control panel is nice and is scarce in this size fan.
Colors are bright and fan speed control works well from very slow to
fast enough to blow your hair around.

Cons: Thin plastic makes the entire frame a bit delicate. Be very careful tightening screws or you may lose a flange. Also for the price, sleeve bearing is a bit of a low blow. LEDS are spread around the inner diameter of the motor meaning you get a nice star pattern of 5 points of light but it does not spread out or give you any "comet tail" streaking along the fan blades.
Fan speed control is "reversed". Fully clockwise is slowest and fully counter-clockwise is fastest. Not necessarily a bad point but not "standard".

Other Thoughts: Perfect fit replacement for the fan from my Thermaltake Armour VA8300BWS case. Was able to use the original grille and mounting hardware without drilling any holes. My original fan is fine but I wanted to experiment with variable air flow.
If you are careful with installation, it is a nice fan. I am just afraid the sleeve bearing will give out after a year or less as has been my experience with other sleeve bearing fans. I knew what I was buying before hand so I will see how it lasts. I was not able to find another 25cm led fan that was variable.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat but packing sucks

Pros: Fan is great and colors are cool

Cons: Packaging sucks. I never received the extended screws so I can mount the fan so the air blows in instead of out.

Other Thoughts: Does it's job I guess. Would work better if it blew air in also.

5 out of 5 eggsBigger = Quieter

Pros: Lots of hardware, including little standoffs for mounting.
Comes with a control panel that fits in a PCI slot for selecting the color (or rotating colors), and a dial for the speed. I used this fan to replace a 230cm fan on the side of my Thermaltake case. Took a little bit of ingenuity, but I expected it and it mounted great.

Cons: Since it has its own controller, it does not have a 3 prong power plug for using your own fan controller if you have one. Don't expect to jury rig anything, the control and led plugs are proprietary. The power is a standard 4 prong molex, with only two wires (therefore no "outside" speed control).

Other Thoughts: Still 5 eggs because it is a well built, sturdy fan that is silent and moves tons of air. Maybe a tad more expensive than I would have liked, but worth it nonetheless.
