I love it :)
- Pros: This thing adds some extra airflow over RAM. Active cooling normally isn't necessary for ram, but it really helps when you've got 6 sticks packed in close together or are running ECC/buffered RAM.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: Keep in mind that this is a 60mm fan - It is designed for boards with 6 RAM sockets. If you've got a board with only 4 sockets and are worried about it getting in the way of your CPU cooler then look for coolers with 40mm fans instead.
Quiet - Bold looking.
- Pros: Nice fan. Keeps mem cool, black shielded wire, has a modern bold look in the case.
- Cons: None.
G skill RAM fan
- Pros: -Nice, unique design w/blue led. Construction feels solid.
-Easy clip-on installation.
-Moves a fairly good amount of air.
- Cons: -It is a little wide, and may have trouble fitting next to bulky CPU heat sinks. It barely fit next to my small stock CPU fan.
-While it does move air, it blows just a thin layer of air along the outer edges of the fan.
- Other Thoughts: -This fan just uses a 3 pin power connector.
-It is a little loud, but can be fixed with a fan speed controller.
